1. Introduction

5. Setup

5.1 Unpacking and Filter Installation

  1. Remove the air purifier from its packaging.
  2. Turn the unit upside down and twist the bottom cover counter-clockwise to unlock and remove it.
  3. Remove the plastic packaging from the pre-installed filter and the main filter.
  4. Insert the main filter into the unit, ensuring it is seated correctly.
  5. Place a FiberCatch pre-filter around the main filter.
  6. Replace the bottom cover and twist clockwise to lock it securely.

5.2 Placement

Place the air purifier on a flat, stable surface. Ensure there is at least 15 inches (38 cm) of clear space around all sides for optimal air circulation.

5.3 Power Connection

Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet. The unit will enter standby mode.

5.4 App and Wi-Fi Setup

Download the DREO app from your smartphone's app store. Follow the in-app instructions to connect your air purifier to your home Wi-Fi network and enable smart control features.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Power On/Off

Press the Power button (U) on the control panel to turn the unit on or off.

6.2 Mode Selection

Press the Mode button (M) to cycle through available modes:

  • Auto Mode: The fan speed adjusts automatically based on real-time PM2.5 air quality readings.
  • Turbo Mode: Operates at the highest fan speed for rapid air purification.
  • Sleep Mode: Operates at the lowest fan speed with minimal noise (18 dB) and turns off display lights for undisturbed sleep.
  • Manual Speed: Allows selection of 4 fan speeds.

6.3 Fan Speed Adjustment

In Manual Speed mode, press the Fan Speed button (F) to select desired fan speed (1-4).

6.4 Display and Light Control

Press the Light button (L) to adjust the brightness of the display or turn it off completely.

Activate the Pet Lock feature by pressing and holding the Pet Lock button (P) for 3 seconds. This prevents accidental changes to settings by pets or children.

7. Maintenance

  1. Unplug the air purifier.
  2. Remove the bottom cover and old filters.
  3. Dispose of used filters properly.
  4. Install new main filter and FiberCatch pre-filter.
  5. Replace and lock the bottom cover.
  6. Plug in the unit and reset the filter life indicator via the control panel or DREO app.
