2. Product Overview

The INJORA 4-LED Rock Lights Kit is designed to enhance visibility and aesthetics for 1/30 Axial SCX30 models, particularly during night operation. These lights provide bright white illumination to the ground, improving navigation over challenging terrain.

3. Package Contents

4. Setup and Installation

Follow these steps to install your INJORA 4-LED Rock Lights Kit:

1. Identify Mounting Locations: The rock lights are designed to mount on the stock shock mounting locations of your SCX30 chassis. The lights are labeled FL (Front Left), FR (Front Right), RL (Rear Left), and RR (Rear Right) for correct placement.

2. Mount the Lights: Using the provided screws and nuts, attach each LED rock light to its corresponding location on the chassis. The CNC-machined aluminum mounts provide a secure fit.
3. Installation Tip: SCX30 models use very small hardware. Use the correct-size driver and apply light pressure. Tighten only until the screw is seated and snug, then stop. If you encounter resistance before the screw is seated, or if it does not thread smoothly, stop and check the alignment before proceeding. Overtightening can strip threads or damage components.

4. Connect Wiring: Connect the wires from the rock lights to your model's power source. The kit includes light adapter cables (Y-splitters) that allow both the stock lights (if applicable) and the new rock lights to operate simultaneously. Ensure all connections are secure. The operating voltage for the lights is 5-7V.

5. Operating Instructions

Once installed and connected to a compatible power source (5-7V), the INJORA 4-LED Rock Lights will illuminate when power is supplied to their circuit. No additional controls are typically required beyond the model's main power switch or lighting control system.

6. Maintenance

To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your rock lights:

• Cleaning: Periodically clean the LED lenses and aluminum mounts with a soft, dry cloth to remove dirt and debris. Avoid using harsh chemicals.
• Connection Check: Regularly inspect all wiring connections to ensure they remain secure and free from corrosion or damage.
• Physical Inspection: Check the aluminum mounts for any signs of bending or damage, especially after heavy use or impacts.

7. Troubleshooting

If your INJORA 4-LED Rock Lights are not functioning as expected, consider the following:

• Lights Not Turning On:
  • Verify that the power source (e.g., ESC or dedicated lighting port) is active and providing power.
  • Check all wiring connections for looseness or disconnections.
  • Ensure the operating voltage is within the specified 5-7V range.
  • Inspect wires for any cuts or pinches that could interrupt the circuit.
• Dim or Flickering Lights:
  • This could indicate an unstable power supply or a loose connection. Recheck connections and power source stability.
  • Ensure the voltage is not too low.
• One or More Lights Not Working:
  • Inspect the specific light and its wiring for damage.
  • If using adapter cables, ensure the connection to the individual light is secure.
