  2. Ensure the ground coffee container is correctly inserted into the base unit.

5. Operating Instructions

Follow these steps to grind your coffee beans:

  1. Fill the Bean Hopper: Remove the hopper lid and pour whole coffee beans into the bean hopper. Do not overfill beyond the MAX line. Replace the lid securely.
  2. Select Grind Fineness: Rotate the Grind Selector Dial to choose your desired grind level. Options range from coarse (for French press) to fine (for espresso). The grinder offers 18 distinct levels.
  3. Select Quantity: Rotate the Cup Selector Dial to choose the number of cups you wish to brew (from 2 to 18 cups). This automatically determines the grinding duration.
  4. Start Grinding: Press the Power Button to begin grinding. The grinder will operate automatically until the selected quantity is ground, then it will shut off automatically.
  5. Collect Ground Coffee: Once grinding is complete, carefully remove the ground coffee container from the base.
  6. Unplug: Always unplug the appliance after use.

Note: For best results, grind only the amount of coffee you need immediately. Store unused whole beans in an airtight container in a cool, dark place.

  1. Unplug: Always unplug the grinder from the power outlet before cleaning.
  2. Disassemble: Remove the hopper lid, bean hopper, and ground coffee container.
  3. Clean Removable Parts: Wash the hopper lid, bean hopper, and ground coffee container in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely before reassembling. These parts are generally not dishwasher safe; refer to the product manual for specific care.
  4. Clean Grinding Chamber: Use a small brush (often included with grinders, or a clean, dry toothbrush) to remove any residual coffee grounds from the grinding chamber and around the blades. Do not use water directly on the grinding chamber or motor base.
  5. Clean Base Unit: Wipe the exterior of the base unit with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the base unit in water or any other liquid.
