1. Introduction

This manual provides detailed instructions for the safe and effective operation of your Zealtron Borescope with Light, Model A1. Please read this manual thoroughly before use and retain it for future reference.

2. Safety Information

  • Do not use the device in environments with flammable or explosive gases.

4. Product Overview

Familiarize yourself with the components of your borescope:

  • 4.3-inch IPS Display: High-definition screen for live viewing.
  • Camera Probe: 8mm diameter, IP67 waterproof, with 8 adjustable LED lights.
  • Semi-Rigid Cable: 16.5 feet (5 meters) long, designed for flexibility and shape retention.
  • Control Buttons:
    • Power Button: Long-press to turn on/off.

5. Setup

5.1. Charging the Device

Before first use, fully charge the borescope.

  1. Connect the provided USB charging cable to the borescope's charging port.
  2. Connect the other end of the USB cable to a standard USB power adapter (not included) or a computer USB port.
  3. The charging indicator light will illuminate. Once fully charged (approximately 3-4 hours), the indicator may change color or turn off.

A full charge provides approximately 3-4 hours of continuous operation.

5.2. Attaching Accessories

The borescope comes with a hook, magnet, and side mirror attachment. To attach:

  1. Gently slide the desired attachment onto the camera probe tip until it is securely in place.
  2. Ensure the attachment does not obstruct the camera lens or LED lights.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1. Powering On/Off

Long-press the Power Button (usually located at the bottom of the control panel) for a few seconds to turn the device on or off. The screen will illuminate.

6.2. Adjusting LED Brightness

Use the LED Brightness Buttons (often marked with sun icons) to cycle through different brightness levels for the camera's LED lights. This helps illuminate dark inspection areas.

6.3. Switching Display Modes (Color/Black & White)

Press the B&W Mode Button (often marked with a half-moon icon) to switch between color and black & white display modes. Black & white mode can sometimes reduce noise and improve image clarity in very low light conditions.

6.4. Rotating the Image

Press the Image Rotation Button (often marked with a 180-degree arrow) to rotate the image on the screen by 180 degrees. This is useful when the camera probe is oriented upside down.

6.5. Using Zoom

Use the Zoom Buttons (often marked with '+' and '-' magnifying glass icons) to magnify the live image. The device features 2x optical zoom.

6.6. Performing an Inspection

Carefully insert the camera probe into the area you wish to inspect. Guide the semi-rigid cable as needed. Adjust LED brightness and image orientation for optimal viewing.

The optimal focal distance for clear images is 1.2–3.9 inches (2cm-10cm).

7. Maintenance

7.1. Cleaning the Camera Lens

After each use, especially in dirty or wet environments, gently wipe the camera lens with a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn dirt, use a lens cleaning solution and a microfiber cloth.

7.2. Cleaning the Cable

Wipe the semi-rigid cable with a damp cloth to remove any debris. Ensure the cable is dry before coiling for storage.

7.3. Storage

Store the borescope in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Coil the cable loosely to prevent damage.

7.4. Battery Care

To prolong battery life, charge the device regularly, even if not in frequent use. Avoid fully discharging the battery for extended periods.
