3. Setup
3.1 Caster Installation
- Carefully unbox the unit and place it on its side on a soft, protective surface to avoid scratches.
- Locate the four casters and 16 screws from the packaging.
- Align each caster with the designated holes on the bottom of the unit.
- Secure each caster with four screws using a screwdriver (not included). Ensure the two casters with locks are installed on the rear side of the unit.
- Once all casters are securely attached, carefully return the unit to an upright position.
3.2 Water Filling
The unit supports three methods for adding water:

- Top Fill: Open the top cover and pour clean water directly into the top reservoir. This method is convenient and requires no bending.
- Front Fill: Pull out the front water drawer and pour water into it.
- Detachable Tank Fill: The entire 9.5-gallon water tank can be detached from the bottom of the unit for direct filling at a sink or faucet.
Observe the transparent water level line at the bottom of the unit to avoid overfilling. Do not exceed the 'MAX' line.
3.3 Ice Pack Usage
For enhanced cooling, utilize the included ice packs:
- Place the ice packs in a freezer until completely frozen.
- Once frozen, place the ice packs into the water tank along with the water.
- The frozen ice packs will help to lower the water temperature, resulting in cooler air output.
4. Operating Instructions
The Uthfy Evaporative Air Cooler can be controlled via the top touch panel or the included remote control.
4.1 Control Panel and Remote Control

Before using the remote control, ensure batteries are installed. The remote requires 2 AAA batteries (not included).

Functions:
- Power (ON/OFF): Turns the unit on or off.
- Speed: Adjusts fan speed (Low, Medium, High).
- Mode: Selects between Normal and Natural wind modes.
- Cool: Activates or deactivates the evaporative cooling function.
- Swing: Turns the 120° automatic oscillation on or off.
- Timer: Sets the operating timer for up to 12 hours.
- Screen Off: Dims the LED display after 30 seconds for undisturbed sleep.
4.2 Initial Operation
- Ensure the unit is plugged into a standard electrical outlet.
- Press the Power button on the control panel or remote to turn on the unit.
- Select your desired fan speed using the Speed button.
- To activate cooling, press the Cool button. Ensure the water tank has sufficient water.
- Press the Swing button to enable or disable oscillation.
- Use the Timer button to set an automatic shut-off time if desired.

The portable design with casters allows for easy movement between different locations such as bedrooms, living rooms, offices, garages, and patios. For optimal performance, ensure adequate ventilation when used indoors.

5. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your evaporative air cooler.
5.1 Cleaning the Water Tank
- Unplug the unit from the power outlet.
- Detach the water tank from the bottom of the unit.
- Empty any remaining water through the drain plug located at the bottom rear of the tank.
- Clean the inside of the water tank with a soft cloth and mild detergent. Rinse thoroughly with clean water.
- Ensure the tank is completely dry before reattaching it to the unit.
5.2 Cleaning the Cooling Pad
The cooling pad is removable for easy cleaning.
- Unplug the unit.
- Carefully remove the cooling pad from its housing.
- Rinse the cooling pad under running water to remove dust and mineral deposits. For stubborn buildup, a soft brush can be used.
- Allow the cooling pad to air dry completely before reinstalling it.
5.3 Storage
When storing the unit for an extended period:
- Ensure the water tank is completely empty and dry.
- Clean the cooling pad and allow it to dry.
- Store the unit in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Cover the unit to protect it from dust.
