Setup and Assembly
Follow these steps to assemble your vacuum cleaner before first use.
- Attach Caster Wheels: Turn the dust tank upside down. Insert the caster wheels into the designated slots on the base of the tank until they click into place.
- Secure Motor Unit: Place the motor unit onto the dust tank, ensuring it is properly aligned. Secure it with the latches on the sides of the tank.
- Install Filter:
- For Dry Vacuuming: Ensure the HEPA filter is securely installed over the motor cage inside the tank.
- For Wet Vacuuming: Remove the HEPA filter. A foam filter (not included, may be purchased separately) is typically used for wet applications to protect the motor. If no foam filter is available, exercise caution to prevent liquids from reaching the motor.
- Connect Hose: Insert the flexible hose into the inlet port on the front of the dust tank. Twist to secure if applicable.
- Attach Extension Tubes and Nozzles: Connect the plastic three-part tubes to the end of the flexible hose. Then attach the desired cleaning accessory (floor brush or 2-in-1 brush) to the end of the extension tubes.
Operating Instructions
Dry Vacuuming
- Ensure the HEPA filter is correctly installed.
- Connect the power cord to a suitable electrical outlet (220V-240V~50/60Hz).
- Turn on the vacuum cleaner using the power switch.
- Move the floor brush or 2-in-1 brush over the surface to be cleaned.
- After use, turn off the power switch and unplug the appliance.
Wet Vacuuming
Caution: Remove the HEPA filter before wet vacuuming. Using the HEPA filter for wet vacuuming can damage the filter and the motor.
- Remove the HEPA filter.
- Connect the power cord to a suitable electrical outlet.
- Turn on the vacuum cleaner.
- Move the floor brush over the wet surface to pick up liquids. The tank has a 12L capacity. Do not overfill.
- The vacuum cleaner is equipped with a float valve that will automatically shut off suction when the tank is full. When this happens, turn off the vacuum, unplug it, and empty the tank.
- After use, turn off the power switch, unplug the appliance, and empty the tank. Clean the tank thoroughly.
Blower Function
This vacuum cleaner can also function as a blower.
- Ensure the tank is empty and clean.
- Disconnect the flexible hose from the inlet port.
- Connect the flexible hose to the blower port (outlet) located on the motor unit.
- Plug in the power cord and turn on the vacuum cleaner. It will now function as a blower.
- After use, turn off the power switch and unplug the appliance.
Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your vacuum cleaner.
Emptying the Dust Tank
- Turn off and unplug the vacuum cleaner.
- Unlatch the motor unit and lift it off the dust tank.
- Carefully empty the contents of the tank into a waste receptacle.
- Clean the inside of the tank with a damp cloth if necessary.
- Reassemble the unit.
Cleaning the HEPA Filter
The HEPA filter should be cleaned regularly, especially after dry vacuuming, to maintain suction power.
- Turn off and unplug the vacuum cleaner.
- Remove the motor unit and carefully detach the HEPA filter.
- Gently tap the filter to dislodge dust and debris. You can also use a soft brush or another vacuum cleaner on a low setting to clean the filter.
- Do not wash the HEPA filter with water unless specifically stated by the manufacturer for this model. If it becomes heavily soiled, replacement may be necessary.
- Reinstall the clean filter securely.
Cleaning Accessories and Hose
Wipe down the hose, extension tubes, and brushes with a damp cloth. Ensure they are free from blockages.
Storage
Store the vacuum cleaner in a dry, cool place, away from direct sunlight and out of reach of children.
