To prevent injury to the user or other people and property damage, the following instructions must be followed. Incorrect operation due to ignoring instructions may cause harm or damage.

4. Setup and Installation

Proper installation is crucial for efficient operation. This unit is designed for quick, tool-free installation.

4.1 Unit Placement

  • Place the unit on a flat, stable floor.
  • Ensure there is at least 20 inches (50 cm) of clear space around the unit for proper air circulation.
  • Position the unit near a window for exhaust hose installation.

4.2 Window Kit Installation

The included window kit is suitable for most vertical or horizontal sliding windows (25.6 to 50 inches).

  1. Measure your window opening.
  2. Adjust the window slider kit panels to fit the window opening and secure them.
  3. Connect one end of the exhaust hose to the unit's exhaust port.
  4. Connect the other end of the exhaust hose to the window kit adapter.
  5. Close the window securely against the window kit to seal the opening.

4.3 Drainage Setup (Dehumidifier Mode)

For continuous dehumidification, attach the drain hose (not always included, check packaging) to the continuous drain port and direct it to a floor drain or suitable container.

5.2 Operating Modes

Press the "MODE" button to cycle through the available operating modes:

  • Cool Mode: Provides powerful cooling. Set your desired temperature between 62°F and 86°F using the Up/Down arrows.
  • Dehumidify (Dry) Mode: Removes excess moisture from the air. The fan speed is automatically set to low in this mode.
  • Fan Mode: Circulates air without cooling. Choose between low, medium, or high fan speeds.

5.3 Fan Speed Adjustment

In Cool or Fan mode, press the "SPEED" button to select desired fan speed (Low, Medium, High).

5.4 Timer Function

5.5 Sleep Mode

5.6 Water Full Alert

The unit features a smart full-water alert system. When the internal water tank is full, the unit will stop operating, and an indicator light will illuminate. Drain the water as described in the Maintenance section.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Air Filter Cleaning

  • The air filter should be cleaned every two weeks or more frequently depending on usage.
