3.3 Installation
The doorbell can be installed using either screws or adhesive. Consider the following guidelines for optimal signal strength:
- Detached Houses: Place the indoor monitor within 10 meters of the doorbell. Avoid thick walls for better signal transmission.
- Concrete Walls: Keep the monitor within 5 meters of the doorbell if concrete walls are present.
- Apartments: Position the monitor within 5 meters of the doorbell to minimize wall obstructions.
- Signal Interference: Metal surfaces can significantly reduce signal strength (10%-30% effectiveness). Stone offers moderate signal transmission (60%-70%), while wood and glass provide the best signal (80%-100%).

4.4 Infrared Night Vision
The doorbell camera is equipped with infrared night vision, which automatically activates in low-light conditions. This ensures clear images and video of visitors even at night.

4.5 No Motion Detection
This doorbell system does not include motion detection functionality. It is designed to activate and record only when the doorbell button is pressed, which helps to reduce false alerts and conserve power.

5. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the doorbell camera lens and monitor screen. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Battery Care: For optimal battery life, avoid exposing the devices to extreme temperatures. Recharge the devices when the battery indicator shows low power.
- Weather Protection: While the doorbell is IP65 weatherproof, ensure it is installed in a location that minimizes direct exposure to heavy rain or snow for extended durability.
6. Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| No connection between doorbell and monitor. | Devices are out of range or pairing failed. | Ensure devices are within recommended range. Repeat the pairing process (Section 3.2). Check for signal interference from metal objects. |
| Monitor screen is blank. | Monitor is off or battery is depleted. | Turn on the monitor. Charge the monitor using the Type C cable. |
| Poor video quality or signal. | Distance too far, obstructions, or low battery. | Move the monitor closer to the doorbell. Ensure no thick walls or metal objects are between them. Charge both devices. |
| No recording when doorbell is pressed. | Micro SD card is missing, full, or faulty. | Insert a Micro SD card (up to 32GB, Class 10 recommended). Check if the card is full and delete old footage or replace it. Ensure the card is formatted correctly. |
| Two-way audio is unclear or not working. | Microphone/speaker obstruction or signal issue. | Ensure nothing is blocking the microphone or speaker on either device. Check signal strength and move devices closer if necessary. |
