Setup

  1. Place the Home Base: Choose a location for the Home Base charging dock against a wall, ensuring there are no obstacles for at least 1.5 feet (0.5 meters) on either side and 4 feet (1.2 meters) in front. Plug in the power cord.
  2. Charge the Robot: Place your Roomba onto the Home Base. The robot will begin charging. Allow it to fully charge before its first use (typically 3 hours).

Cleaning Modes and Features

  • Vacuum and Mop in One Pass: The robot simultaneously vacuums with 15,000 Pa suction and mops, lifting dust and light smudges from sealed hard floors.
  • ClearView™ LiDAR Navigation: Utilizes LiDAR technology to precisely map your home, allowing the robot to clean in neat, efficient rows and navigate around furniture and obstacles, even in low light conditions.
  • Thorough Edge and Corner Cleaning: An extended mop pad and edge-sweeping brush are designed to reach along baseboards and deep into corners, ensuring comprehensive cleaning.
  • SmartScrub: This mode mops 2x deeper compared to standard vacuum & mop mode, ideal for tackling tougher messes like coffee spills.
  • No Mop Zones: Through the app, you can define specific areas as "No Mop Zones" to prevent the robot from mopping carpets or rugs, keeping them dry and protected.
  • Spot Clean: Quickly target and clean small spills or messes, such as cereal or muddy pawprints, without initiating a full room cleaning cycle.
  • Anti-Hair-Wrap Brushes: Designed to resist pet hair tangles, making it suitable for homes with pets.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance of your Roomba 115X Combo:

  • Empty the Dust Bin: After each cleaning cycle, or as needed, remove and empty the dust bin. Tap out debris into a trash receptacle.
  • Clean the Washable Microfiber Pad: Remove the mopping pad after each use and rinse it thoroughly with water. It can also be laundered as needed.
  • Clean Brushes and Filter: Periodically check the main brushes and edge-sweeping brush for hair or debris entanglement. Clean or replace them every 3-6 months, or as indicated by the app. Replace the filter every 3-6 months to maintain strong suction performance.
  • Clean Sensors: Wipe the robot's sensors with a clean, dry cloth to ensure proper navigation.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your Roomba 115X Combo, refer to the following common solutions:
