The LCD screen provides real-time riding data:

  • Speed: Current riding speed (km/h or mph).
  • Mode: Indicates the current riding mode (e.g., Eco, Standard, Sport).

Changing Modes and PAS Levels

Use the designated buttons (often '+' and '-' or mode buttons) on the display or control pad to cycle through different riding modes and adjust the PAS level. Refer to your e-bike's specific controller manual for detailed button functions if the display has external controls.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Wipe the display screen and housing with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the screen or casing.
  • Connector Care: Periodically check the 5-pin connector for dirt or debris. Ensure the locking collar is always tight to maintain its IP65 waterproof rating.
  • Storage: When not in use for extended periods, store the e-bike and display in a dry, temperate environment.

Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Display does not power on. Loose or disconnected power cable; low e-bike battery. Check the 5-pin connector for a secure connection. Ensure the e-bike battery is charged.
Incorrect speed or PAS readings. Speed sensor issue; incorrect display settings. Inspect the speed sensor for damage or misalignment. Consult your e-bike's main controller manual for display settings.
Mounting bracket does not fit handlebars. Incompatible handlebar diameter. Ensure the handlebar diameter matches the bracket specifications. Some users may need to use their original bracket if compatible.
