3.2 Wiring Connections

3.3 Battery Type Configuration

The controller is compatible with various battery types. For lead-acid batteries (AGM, GEL, Sealed, Flooded), the controller automatically adjusts parameters. For lithium batteries (LiFePO4), parameters must be manually adjusted based on the battery's actual voltage characteristics.

4. Operation

Once installed, the controller will begin operating automatically. The LCD display provides real-time information about your system.

4.1 LCD Display and Button Interface

The built-in LCD screen allows for real-time monitoring of system performance data, including solar input voltage, battery voltage, charging current, and more. Use the intuitive button interface to navigate through display screens and adjust settings, such as battery type.

4.2 Charging Process

The controller utilizes a 3-stage charging process to optimize battery charging and extend battery life:

  1. Bulk Charge: Charges the battery at its maximum current until the voltage rises to the boost voltage level.
  2. Boost Charge: Maintains the boost voltage for a set period, ensuring the battery is fully charged.
  3. Float Charge: Reduces the voltage to a lower level to maintain the battery at full charge without overcharging.

4.3 DSP Control
