5.1 Standing Placement
- Place the device on a flat, stable surface.
- Ensure there is adequate space around the device for air circulation and to prevent obstruction of the UV light.
- Keep away from water sources and areas where it might be easily knocked over.
5.2 Hanging Placement
- Attach the provided metal chain to the hooks on top of the device.
- Hang the device from a secure hook or fixture.
- Ensure the hanging point can support the weight of the device (1.8 kg).
- For optimal performance, hang the device at a height of 1.5 to 2 meters, away from other light sources.
5.3 Power Connection
- Plug the power cord into a standard AC electrical outlet.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Manual Operation

7. Maintenance

7.1 Cleaning the Collection Tray

- Always unplug the device from the power outlet before cleaning.
- Gently pull out the collection tray located at the bottom of the device.
- Empty the insect remains into a waste bin.
- Wipe the tray clean with a damp cloth. Ensure it is completely dry before reinserting.
- Slide the clean tray back into its position until it clicks securely.
7.2 Cleaning the Electric Grid and UV Lamps
- Ensure the device is unplugged and completely off.
- Use a small, non-metallic brush (e.g., a soft toothbrush) to gently remove any stuck insect remains from the electric grid. Do not use water or cleaning solutions directly on the grid or lamps.
- Wipe the UV lamps with a dry, soft cloth to maintain their light output.
- Do not attempt to disassemble the device beyond removing the collection tray.
7.3 UV Lamp Replacement
