4. Setup

4.1 Charging the Battery

4.2 Inserting the Memory Card

  1. Ensure the camera is powered off.
  2. Locate the Micro SD card slot.
  3. Insert the provided 32GB Micro SD card with the gold contacts facing the correct direction (usually towards the front screen). Push until it clicks into place.
  4. To remove, gently push the card in again until it springs out.

Note: Use a Class 10 or higher Micro SD card for optimal performance. The included 32GB card meets this requirement.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Power On/Off

  • Power On: Press and hold the Power/Mode button for a few seconds until the screen illuminates.
  • Power Off: Press and hold the Power/Mode button for a few seconds until the screen turns off.

5.2 Switching Modes

Press the Power/Mode button repeatedly to cycle through different modes such as Video Recording, Photo Mode, Playback, and Settings.

5.3 Video Recording

  1. Switch to Video Recording mode.
  2. Press the Shutter/OK button to start recording. A red indicator light or on-screen icon will show recording is in progress.
  3. Press the Shutter/OK button again to stop recording.

5.4 Taking Photos

  1. Switch to Photo Mode.
  2. Frame your shot using either the front or rear screen.
  3. Press the Shutter/OK button to take a photo.

6. Maintenance
