3. Setup

Unpacking and Initial Assembly:

The HONEYWHALE K6 Pro comes partially assembled. Carefully remove all packaging materials. It is recommended to have assistance during assembly and to thoroughly check all screws and fasteners before first use.

• Attach the front wheel, handlebars, pedals, and seat post as per the included assembly guide.
• Ensure all connections are secure and tightened to the manufacturer's specifications.
• Check tire pressure and inflate if necessary.

Battery Installation and Initial Charge:

The battery is removable for convenient charging. Before your first ride, fully charge the battery.

• Locate the battery compartment and insert the battery, ensuring it clicks into place.
• Connect the charger to the battery charging port and then to a power outlet.
• The charging indicator on the charger will show the charging status. Charge time is approximately 7 hours.
• Once fully charged, disconnect the charger.

NFC Smart Unlock Setup:

The K6 Pro uses an NFC card for intelligent unlocking. Your bicycle comes with NFC cards. To activate the system:

• Ensure the battery is installed and powered on.
• Swipe the NFC card over the designated NFC reader area on the display.
• The display will illuminate, indicating the bicycle is unlocked and ready for use.

4. Operating Instructions

Powering On and Off:

• To Power On: Swipe your NFC card over the reader. The display will activate.
• To Power Off: Press and hold the power button on the display. After turning off, press the button on the battery to put it into sleep mode, preventing continuous NFC system power consumption.

Riding Modes:

The K6 Pro offers three distinct riding modes to suit your preference and terrain:

1. Manual Pedal Mode: Ride the bicycle like a traditional bike, using only pedal power. The electric system is off.
2. Electric Assist Mode: Engage the electric assist by pressing the power button. Pedal as usual, and the motor will provide assistance, reducing fatigue. This mode offers a greater range than pure electric driving.
3. Pure Electric Mode: Press the power button and use only the throttle for fully electric propulsion. This mode has 5 adjustable speed gears.

Speed Modes and Gear Shifting:

The bicycle features 5 electric speed modes and a 7-speed mechanical gear system.

• Electric Speed Modes: 17 km/h, 22 km/h, 32 km/h, 37 km/h, 55 km/h. Adjust these via the display controls in pure electric mode.
• 7-Speed Transmission: Use the gear shifter on the handlebars to change mechanical gears, optimizing pedaling effort for different inclines and speeds.

5. Battery Management

Charging the Battery:

The K6 Pro is equipped with a 48V 15.6AH lithium-ion battery. It can be charged while installed on the bike or removed for charging indoors.

• Ensure the bicycle is turned off before charging.
• Connect the charger to the battery's charging port.
• Plug the charger into a standard wall outlet.
• A full charge takes approximately 7 hours. Do not overcharge.

Battery Care and Storage:

• After turning off the bicycle, press the button on the battery to put it into a low-power sleep state. This prevents the NFC system from continuously consuming energy.
• Store the battery in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
• If storing for an extended period, charge the battery to 50-70% every few months to maintain its health.

6. Maintenance

Routine Checks (Before Each Ride):

• Brakes: Test front and rear brakes for proper function and responsiveness.
