4. Installation
4.1 Pre-Installation Check
This radio is designed for vehicles with a standard 1 DIN slot (180mm x 50mm). Please measure your car's dashboard opening before installation to ensure compatibility. If your car has a 2 DIN slot, this radio will not fit directly.

4.2 Wiring Instructions
This radio uses universal wiring. Connect the provided wiring harness to your car's wiring according to the diagram below. Incorrect wiring can cause damage or malfunction.

Power and Control Wires:
- RED (ACC): Connect to car's ignition switch (switched 12V).
- YELLOW (B+): Connect to car's constant 12V power supply.
- BLACK (GND): Connect to car's chassis ground.
- PINK (BRAKE): Connect to parking brake signal (for video playback safety).
- BROWN (KEY1): Connect to steering wheel control wire 1.
- ORANGE (ILL): Connect to car's illumination wire (headlight detection).
- BLUE (ANT): Connect to power antenna or amplifier remote turn-on.
- BROWN (REVERSE): Connect to reverse camera detection wire.
Speaker Wires:
- VIOLET / VIOLET & BLACK: Rear Right Speaker (+/-)
- GREY / GREY & BLACK: Front Right Speaker (+/-)

4.3 Rear Camera Installation
The included rear camera provides a clear view when reversing. Connect it as follows:
- Connect the camera's power cable (red wire) to the car's reverse light positive (+).
- Connect the camera's ground cable (black wire) to the car's reverse light negative (-) or chassis ground.
- Connect the camera's video RCA cable to the "CAM IN" (or similar) RCA input on the back of the radio.
- Connect the reverse trigger wire (usually a thin red wire extending from the RCA cable) to the radio's "REVERSE" detection wire (often brown).

4.4 Steering Wheel Control Connection
To use your car's original steering wheel controls, you need to connect the radio's KEY1 (and KEY2 if available) wires to your vehicle's steering wheel control wires. This function usually requires manual configuration in the radio's settings menu after wiring. This feature is not compatible with cars that require a CANbus decoder.

5. Operation
5.1 Power On/Off and Volume
- Power: Press the power button (usually integrated with the volume knob) to turn the unit on or off.
- Volume: Rotate the physical knob to adjust the volume level.
5.2 Wireless/Wired CarPlay & Android Auto
Connect your smartphone for seamless integration with CarPlay or Android Auto.
- Wireless Connection:
- Ensure Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are enabled on your smartphone.
- On the car radio, go to the CarPlay/Android Auto app.
- Pair your phone with the car radio via Bluetooth. Once paired, the system will automatically establish a Wi-Fi connection for CarPlay/Android Auto.
- Wired Connection:
- Connect your smartphone to the radio's USB port using a high-quality USB data cable.
- The system should automatically detect your phone and launch CarPlay or Android Auto.

5.3 Bluetooth Hands-Free & Music Streaming
Pair your phone via Bluetooth for hands-free calls and wireless music playback.
- On the radio, go to the Bluetooth menu.
- Enable Bluetooth on your smartphone and search for available devices.
- Select "Junsun" (or similar device name) from the list on your phone to pair.
- Once connected, you can make/receive calls and stream audio.
Note: If CarPlay/Android Auto is active, Bluetooth functions might be managed through those interfaces.
5.4 USB/TF Card Multimedia Playback
Play audio and video files from USB drives or TF (micro SD) cards.
- Insert a USB flash drive into the USB port or a TF card into the TF slot.
- Navigate to the "USB" or "TF" media player application on the radio.
- Browse and select your desired audio or video files for playback.
5.5 Type-C Charging Port
The dedicated Type-C port on the front panel is for charging mobile phones only. It does not support data transfer.

5.6 FM Radio
Access the FM radio tuner to listen to your favorite stations.
- Select the "Radio" or "FM" application from the main menu.
- Use the scan function to automatically search for and save available stations.
- Manually tune to frequencies or select from saved presets.
Note: The radio antenna is not included. Use your car's original radio antenna for stable signal reception.
5.7 DSP and Sound Settings
The integrated Digital Sound Processor (DSP) allows you to customize the audio output.
- Access the "Sound" or "EQ" settings menu.
- Choose from preset equalizer modes (e.g., Rock, Pop, Jazz, Classic) or manually adjust frequency bands.
- Adjust balance, fader, and subwoofer settings (if applicable).
5.8 Voice Control
Utilize voice commands for safer operation while driving.
- When CarPlay or Android Auto is active, activate Siri or Google Assistant by pressing the voice command button on the screen or steering wheel (if configured).
- Use voice commands for navigation, calls, messages, and music control.
6. Maintenance
- Screen Cleaning: Use a soft, lint-free cloth to gently wipe the touchscreen. For stubborn smudges, slightly dampen the cloth with water or a screen cleaner. Avoid abrasive materials or harsh chemicals.
- General Care: Keep the unit free from dust and debris. Avoid exposing it to extreme temperatures or direct sunlight for prolonged periods.
- Software Updates: Check the manufacturer's website periodically for any available software updates to ensure optimal performance and new features.
