Setup and Assembly

Follow these steps carefully for proper assembly. It is recommended to assemble the chair on a soft, clean surface to prevent damage.

1. Attach Casters to Base: Insert each of the five casters into the holes at the end of each leg of the 5-star base. Push firmly until they click into place.

2. Insert Gas Lift: Place the gas lift cylinder into the center hole of the assembled 5-star base.
3. Attach Mechanism Plate to Seat: Align the mechanism plate with the screw holes on the underside of the seat cushion. Ensure the front of the mechanism (usually indicated by an arrow or "FRONT" label) faces the front of the seat. Secure with screws and washers using the provided Allen wrench.
4. Attach Armrests to Seat: Align the armrests with the designated holes on the sides of the seat cushion. Secure them with screws. Ensure the flip-up mechanism is oriented correctly.

5. Attach Backrest to Armrests: Align the backrest with the attachment points on the armrests. Secure with screws.
6. Connect Seat Assembly to Gas Lift: Carefully place the assembled seat and backrest onto the gas lift cylinder, ensuring the tapered end of the gas lift fits securely into the mechanism plate. Apply gentle downward pressure to seat it properly.

Operating Instructions

• Height Adjustment: To raise the seat, lift the lever located under the right side of the seat while taking your weight off the chair. To lower the seat, lift the lever while remaining seated. Release the lever at the desired height.

• Tilt/Rocking Function: Pull the lever on the left side of the seat outwards to enable the rocking function. Push it inwards to lock the chair in an upright position.

• Tilt Tension Adjustment: Rotate the round knob located under the front of the seat to adjust the tension of the rocking function. Turn clockwise to increase tension (making it harder to recline) and counter-clockwise to decrease tension (making it easier to recline).
• Flip-Up Armrests: The armrests can be flipped up by rotating them upwards, allowing the chair to be pushed closer to a desk or used as an armless chair.
