Important Safety Instructions

  • Read all instructions before operating the appliance.
  • Do not touch the evaporator when the ice maker is in operation.
  • Do not immerse the power cord, plug, or any part of the appliance in water or other liquids.
  • Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
  • Unplug the appliance from the outlet when not in use, before cleaning, and before servicing.
  • Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug, or after the appliance malfunctions or has been damaged in any manner.

Control Panel

The control panel is located on the front of the unit and includes the following indicators and buttons:

  • POWER Indicator: Illuminates when the unit is powered on.
  • SMALL/LARGE Indicators: Show the selected ice cube size.
  • ADD WATER Indicator: Illuminates when the water reservoir needs refilling.
  • ICE FULL Indicator: Illuminates when the ice basket is full.
  • CLEAN Indicator: Illuminates during the self-cleaning cycle.
  • SELECT Button: Press to switch between small and large ice cube sizes.
  • ON/OFF Button: Press to turn the unit on or off. Press and hold for 5 seconds to activate the self-cleaning function.

Setup

1. Unpacking

  1. Carefully remove the ice maker from its packaging.
  2. Remove all packing materials, including foam and tape.
  3. Inspect the unit for any damage. If damaged, do not operate and contact customer support.

2. Placement

Place the ice maker on a stable, level surface away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Ensure there is adequate ventilation around the unit (at least 5 inches of space on all sides). The compact design (11.9"D x 7.3"W x 10.8"H) allows it to fit easily on most countertops.

3. Initial Cleaning

Before first use, it is recommended to clean the ice maker. Refer to the 'Automatic Self-Cleaning' section under Maintenance for detailed instructions.

Operating Instructions

1. Add Water

  • Open the top lid of the ice maker.
  • Fill the water reservoir with potable water up to the MAX fill line. Do not overfill.
  • Close the lid.

2. Power On/Off

  • Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet. The POWER indicator will blink.
  • Press the ON/OFF button to turn on the ice maker. The POWER indicator will illuminate steadily.
  • To turn off the unit, press the ON/OFF button again.

3. Selecting Ice Size

  • After powering on, the default ice size is usually small.
  • Press the SELECT button to toggle between SMALL and LARGE ice cube sizes. The corresponding indicator light will illuminate.
  • Small ice is ideal for whiskey, iced coffee, or cocktails, melting slower to balance flavors.
  • Large ice is suitable for sodas, iced tea, or pitchers, cooling beverages faster.

4. Ice Production

  • Once water is added and the unit is powered on with a size selected, the ice maker will begin its cycle.
  • The first batch of ice cubes will be ready in approximately 6 minutes.
  • The unit can produce up to 26 lbs of ice in 24 hours.

5. Ice Full Indicator

  • When the ice basket is full, the ICE FULL indicator will illuminate, and the ice production cycle will pause automatically.
  • Remove ice from the basket to resume ice production.

6. Add Water Indicator

  • If the water level in the reservoir is too low, the ADD WATER indicator will illuminate, and the ice production will stop.
  • Refill the water reservoir to the MAX line to resume operation.

Maintenance

1. Automatic Self-Cleaning Function

The ice maker features an automatic self-cleaning cycle to maintain hygiene and ice purity.

  1. Ensure the water reservoir is filled with clean water.
  2. Press and hold the ON/OFF button for 5 seconds. The CLEAN indicator will illuminate, and the unit will begin a 5-minute cleaning cycle.
  3. After the cycle, drain the water from the unit.

2. Regular Cleaning

  • Unplug the ice maker before cleaning.
  • Remove the ice basket and wash it with mild detergent and warm water. Rinse thoroughly.
  • Drain any remaining water from the reservoir using the drain plug located at the bottom of the unit.
  • Wipe the interior and exterior surfaces with a soft cloth and mild detergent.
  • Dry all parts thoroughly before reassembling and storing.

3. Descaling

If you live in an area with hard water, descaling may be necessary to prevent mineral buildup. Descale once a month, or more often if significant mineral deposits are observed.

  • Mix a solution of water and vinegar (or a commercial descaling agent) according to the product instructions.
  • Pour the solution into the water reservoir.
  • Run the self-cleaning cycle (see above).
  • After the cycle, drain the solution and rinse the reservoir thoroughly with clean water several times to remove any residue.

4. Storage

When storing the ice maker for an extended period, ensure it is clean and dry. Store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
