Setup and Installation
This section guides you through the physical installation of the motherboard and its primary components.
1. Motherboard Overview
Familiarize yourself with the layout of the motherboard before installation.

2. Installing the CPU
- Locate the LGA1200 CPU socket on the motherboard.
- Gently push down the load lever and pull it away from the socket to open the CPU retention frame.
- Carefully align the notches on your 10th Generation Intel Core processor with the keys on the socket. The golden triangle on the CPU should match the triangle on the socket.
- Place the CPU into the socket without applying force. It should sit flush.
- Close the retention frame and push the load lever back into its locked position.
- Apply a thin, even layer of thermal paste to the top of the CPU.
- Install your CPU cooler according to its manufacturer's instructions.
3. Installing Memory (RAM)
- Locate the four DDR4 DIMM slots.
- Open the clips at both ends of the DIMM slot.
- Align the notch on the DDR4 memory module with the key in the DIMM slot.
- Insert the memory module firmly into the slot until the clips snap into place. Ensure both clips are closed.
- For dual-channel operation, refer to your CPU cooler's manual for recommended slot population. Typically, you would use slots A2 and B2 (the second and fourth slots from the CPU).
4. Installing Storage Devices
