Operating Instructions

Using the Drop-Leaf Countertop

The kitchen island features a flexible drop-leaf countertop to expand your workspace or create a dining area. To extend, lift the drop-leaf section until it is level with the main countertop. Pull out the support bar located underneath the drop-leaf to secure it in place. To fold down, push the support bar back in and gently lower the drop-leaf.

Accessing Trash Can Storage

The right-side compartment is designed to house a trash can up to 13 gallons. Simply open the barn-style door to access the pull-out mechanism for your trash bin. This keeps waste out of sight and easily accessible during food preparation.

Mobility and Locking Casters

The island is equipped with 5 silent swivel casters for easy movement. Two of these casters include brakes. To move the island, ensure the brakes are disengaged. To secure the island in a stationary position, press down on the brake levers of the two locking casters until they click into place.
