Thank you for choosing the Generic 65W PD 3.1 DIY Power Bank Kit. This kit allows you to assemble a powerful portable charger using 8x18650 batteries (not included). It features 65W PD 3.1 fast charging, an adjustable 3.3-24V DC output, and a tool-free snap-on design for easy assembly. This manual provides essential information for safe and efficient use of your power bank kit.
2. Safety Information
- Battery Compatibility: Use only flat-top 18650 lithium-ion batteries. Do not use pointed-top or protected 18650 batteries, as they may not fit or function correctly.
- Correct Polarity: Always insert batteries with the correct positive (+) and negative (-) polarity as indicated inside the battery compartments. Incorrect insertion can damage the device and pose a safety risk.
- Battery Condition: Ensure all 18650 batteries used are in good condition, free from damage, swelling, or leaks. Do not mix old and new batteries, or batteries of different capacities/brands.
- Charging Environment: Charge the power bank in a well-ventilated area, away from flammable materials. Do not leave charging unattended for extended periods.
- Water and Heat: Keep the device away from water, moisture, and extreme temperatures. Do not expose to direct sunlight for prolonged periods.
- Disassembly: Do not attempt to disassemble or modify the power bank kit beyond the intended battery installation. This will void the warranty and may cause damage or injury.
- Children: Keep out of reach of children.

4. Setup and Battery Installation
The power bank kit features a tool-free snap-on design for easy assembly.
- Open the Housing: Gently slide or snap open the power bank housing. The design allows for easy access to the battery compartments without tools.
- Insert 18650 Batteries: Insert up to eight (8) flat-top 18650 batteries into their respective slots. Pay close attention to the polarity markings (+ and -) inside each compartment. Incorrect polarity can damage the device.
- Close the Housing: Once all batteries are securely in place with correct polarity, snap the housing back together until it is firmly closed.

5. Operating Instructions
Familiarize yourself with the ports and controls:

5.1 Charging the Power Bank
- Connect a compatible USB-C PD charger (up to 65W) to the USB-C port on the power bank.
- The digital display will show the charging status and battery percentage.
- For optimal charging speed, use a PD3.1 compatible charger and an E-Mark certified USB-C cable.
5.2 Charging External Devices (USB-C & USB-A)
- USB-C Output: Connect your laptop, tablet, or smartphone to the USB-C port using a compatible cable. The USB-C port supports up to 65W PD 3.1 fast charging.
- USB-A Output: Connect devices to the USB-A port for standard charging.
- Note on Simultaneous Output: When multiple ports are used simultaneously, the total output is limited to 5V to ensure safety and compatibility. For maximum charging speed, use a single output port.

5.3 Adjustable DC Output (3.3-24V)
The power bank features two DC output ports (DC5.5×2.1 and DC3.8×1.35) with adjustable voltage.
- Activate DC Mode: Long press the designated button (refer to Figure 5.1) to enter or exit DC output mode.
- Adjust Voltage: In DC mode, tap the button to increment the voltage by 0.1V. Press and hold the button for rapid voltage adjustment.
- Decrement Voltage: To decrease voltage, use the other designated button (refer to Figure 5.1). Tap to decrement by 0.1V, and long press for rapid decrement.
- Connect Device: Connect your router, LED light strip, cooling fan, or other small DIY electronics to the appropriate DC port. Ensure the voltage matches the requirements of your device.

5.4 LED Light Mode
- Double-click the designated button (refer to Figure 5.1) to enter or exit the LED light mode.
- Click the button again to cycle through different LED light modes or brightness levels.
6. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior of the power bank. Do not use liquid cleaners or solvents.
- Storage: Store the power bank in a cool, dry place when not in use. If storing for extended periods, remove the 18650 batteries.
- Battery Replacement: The tool-free design allows for easy battery replacement. Always ensure correct polarity when replacing batteries.
