Setup

1. Charging the Devices

Before first use, fully charge both the remote control and the collar receiver. Use the provided Type-C charging cable. A full charge typically takes 2-3 hours.

  • The indicator light on the remote and collar will show charging status.
  • Once fully charged, the indicator light will change (refer to specific light patterns in the full manual if available).

2. Pairing the Remote and Collar

The remote and collar are usually pre-paired from the factory. If re-pairing is needed:

  1. Ensure both devices are powered off.
  2. Turn on the remote.
  3. Press and hold the power button on the collar receiver until the indicator light flashes rapidly.
  4. On the remote, select the desired dog channel (if applicable) and press any training button (e.g., Tone or Vibration).
  5. The collar's indicator light will become solid, indicating successful pairing.

3. Attaching Contact Points and Silicone Caps

Select the appropriate length of contact points (short for short-haired dogs, long for long-haired dogs) to ensure proper skin contact. Attach the silicone caps over the contact points for comfort and to prevent irritation.

4. Fitting the Collar

Proper fit is crucial for effectiveness and comfort. The collar should be snug, but not too tight. You should be able to fit two fingers comfortably between the collar strap and your dog's neck.

  • Position the receiver directly under your dog's chin.
  • Ensure the contact points touch the skin. Trim fur if necessary to ensure good contact.
  • Do not leave the collar on for more than 12 hours per day to prevent pressure sores.

Training Modes

The AB-T70 offers four distinct training modes:

  • Tone Mode (9 Levels): Emits an audible sound. Useful for commands or warnings.
  • Vibration Mode (36 Levels): Provides a tactile vibration. Can be used for attention or mild correction.
  • Custom Mode 1 (Beep+Vibration): Combines an audible tone with vibration.
  • Custom Mode 2 (Static Stimulation): Delivers a static pulse. Use with caution and at the lowest effective level. Always ensure the safety lock is disengaged before using static stimulation.

To switch between the two custom modes, long press the mode knob on the remote.

E-Clicker Function

The E-Clicker function allows for positive reinforcement training. When your dog performs a desired action, press the E-Clicker button on the remote and immediately reward your dog with a treat or praise. This helps associate the clicker sound with positive outcomes.
