1. Introduction

The MASTFUYI FY8176 is a versatile network cable tester designed for professionals and enthusiasts. 2. Setup

2.1 Battery Installation

The FY8176 main unit and receiver require 1.5V AAA batteries for operation. Ensure batteries are inserted with correct polarity.

  1. Locate the battery compartment on the back of both the main unit and the receiver.
  2. Open the battery compartment cover.
  3. Insert the required 1.5V AAA batteries, observing the polarity markings (+/-).
  4. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

2.2 Initial Power On

3.2 Network Cable Length Test

This function allows you to measure the length of network cables, including shielded wires, from 2 meters to 400 meters. It can also measure the length of individual core paths within the cable.

  1. Connect one end of the network cable to the RJ45 port on the main FY8176 unit. Ensure the other end of the cable is disconnected from any device.
