Troubleshooting
If you encounter any issues with your air fryer, please refer to the following common problems and solutions:
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Air fryer does not turn on. | Not plugged in; basket not inserted correctly. | Ensure the power cord is securely plugged into a grounded outlet. Make sure the cooking basket is fully inserted and clicked into place. |
| Food is not cooked evenly. | Basket is overfilled; food not shaken/flipped. | Do not overfill the basket. Cook in smaller batches if necessary. Shake or flip food halfway through cooking. |
| White smoke comes from the appliance. | Grease residue from previous use; fatty food. | Clean the basket and interior thoroughly after each use. For fatty foods, a small amount of smoke is normal. Remove excess oil from food before cooking. |
| Food is not crispy. | Too much moisture; not enough oil (for some foods). | Pat food dry before cooking. For some items, a light spray of oil can enhance crispiness. Ensure basket is not overcrowded. |
