3.2 Connecting to Devices

The monitor supports various connection methods:

  • USB-C Connection (Single Cable for Video & Power): Connect one end of a USB-C to USB-C cable to your device's Thunderbolt 3/4/5 or DisplayPort Alt Mode compatible USB-C port, and the other end to one of the monitor's USB-C ports. This method provides both video signal and power. For maximum brightness (560 nits), connect the included power adapter to the monitor's second USB-C port. Without the power adapter, brightness is capped at 60% (approximately 340 nits).

  • HDMI Connection (for Consoles & PCs): Connect one end of the HDMI cable to your console (e.g., PS5, Xbox) or PC, and the other end to the monitor's HDMI port. An external power source (using the included power adapter and a USB-C cable connected to the monitor's USB-C port) is required for the monitor to function via HDMI. PS5/Xbox supports up to 120Hz refresh rate.

Always connect to the Thunderbolt/USB-C ports on the REAR panel of your desktop device, as front ports may lack video signal support.

The monitor offers flexible positioning:

  • Built-in Kickstand: The integrated kickstand allows for adjustable viewing angles from 0-90 degrees for stable landscape use.

  • Handling: Handle the monitor with care. Avoid dropping it or applying excessive pressure to the screen.
  • Heat: Ensure proper ventilation around the monitor. Avoid placing it in direct sunlight or near heat sources.

6. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues, refer to the following common solutions:

  • No Signal / Black Screen:
    • Ensure all cables (USB-C or HDMI + Power) are securely connected.
    • Verify your device's USB-C port supports DisplayPort Alt Mode if using a single USB-C cable.
    • If using HDMI, confirm the external power adapter is connected to the monitor.
    • Try connecting to a different port on your source device or using different cables.
    • Check your device's display settings to ensure the external monitor is detected and enabled.
  • Low Brightness:
    • If using a single USB-C cable for power and video, the brightness is limited to 60% (340 nits). Connect the included power adapter to the monitor's second USB-C port to achieve full 560 nits brightness.
    • Adjust brightness settings via the OSD menu.
  • Flickering Screen:
    • Ensure the monitor is receiving sufficient power. Use the original power adapter if flickering occurs, especially with a single USB-C connection.
    • Try a different cable or port.
    • Adjust the refresh rate on your device to match the monitor's capabilities.
  • No Audio from Monitor Speakers:
    • Check the volume settings on both the monitor (via OSD) and your connected device.
    • Ensure the monitor is selected as the audio output device on your computer or console.
