4.1 Wiring Diagram
Follow the wiring diagram carefully to ensure correct and safe installation. Disconnect all power before wiring.

Figure 4: Wiring Diagram
- Identify the Phase Line (L) and Neutral Line (N) of your electrical circuit.
- Connect the incoming Phase Line (L) to the terminal marked 'L' on the Input side of the meter.
- Connect the incoming Neutral Line (N) to the terminal marked 'N' on the Input side of the meter.
- Connect the outgoing Phase Line (L) to the terminal marked 'L' on the Output side of the meter.
- Connect the outgoing Neutral Line (N) to the terminal marked 'N' on the Output side of the meter.
- Ensure all wire connections are tight and secure.
4.2 Temperature Sensor Connection
Connect the provided temperature sensor cable to the NTC interface at the bottom of the device to enable temperature monitoring.
5. Operation
5.1 Initial Power-Up and Display
Once correctly wired and powered on, the LCD display will illuminate, showing real-time electrical parameters. The default display shows voltage, current, active power, and kWh.
5.2 Wi-Fi Configuration (Tuya Smart App)
To enable smart control and monitoring, connect the device to your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network using the Tuya Smart app.

Figure 5: Wi-Fi Smart Control via Tuya Smart App
- Download the Tuya Smart app from your smartphone's app store (iOS or Android).
- Register or log in to your Tuya Smart account.
- On the energy meter, press and hold the '-' (Adjustment) button for 5 seconds until the Wi-Fi indicator on the display starts blinking rapidly. This indicates the device is in pairing mode.
- In the Tuya Smart app, tap 'Add Device' or the '+' icon. The app should automatically discover the new device. If not, manually select 'Electrical Engineering' > 'Circuit Breaker (Wi-Fi)'.
- Follow the on-screen instructions in the app to connect the device to your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. Enter your Wi-Fi password when prompted.
- Once connected, the Wi-Fi indicator on the meter's display will become solid, and you can access real-time data and control functions through the app.
5.3 Protection Function Settings
The device offers various adjustable protection settings. Press and hold the 'SET' button for 3 seconds to enter the setting interface. Use the '+' and '-' buttons to navigate and adjust values.

Figure 6: Displaying Protection States
- Overvoltage Protection: Set the upper voltage limit (120-300V). If the voltage exceeds this, power is cut off.
- Undervoltage Protection: Set the lower voltage limit (80-210V). If the voltage drops below this, power is cut off.
- Overcurrent Protection: Set the maximum current (1-63A). If the current exceeds this, power is cut off.
- Leakage Protection: Set the leakage current threshold (10-99mA). If leakage is detected, power is cut off.
- Thermal Protection: Set the temperature limit (40-100°C). If the sensor detects overheating, power is cut off.
After a protection event, the device will automatically restore power once the fault is resolved and within the set recovery time.
5.4 Time-Controlled Overcurrent Protection
The device allows setting up to 3 groups of time-controlled overcurrent protection with different values and time periods.

Figure 7: Time-Controlled Overcurrent Protection Settings
Each level allows setting an overcurrent action current range (1-63A) and a time set range (00:00 – 23:59). Ensure the time settings for Level 1/2/3 follow a 24-hour sequence from morning to night. Incorrect sequencing may result in only Level 1 being implemented.
6. Troubleshooting
- Device not powering on: Check the main power supply and all wiring connections. Ensure the input voltage is within the AC 80-300V range.
- No Wi-Fi connection: Ensure your router is 2.4GHz and within range. Re-enter pairing mode by holding the '-' button for 5 seconds. Check your Wi-Fi password in the Tuya Smart app.
- Frequent power cut-offs: Check the set protection thresholds (overvoltage, undervoltage, overcurrent, leakage, thermal). Adjust them if they are too sensitive for your application. Verify there are no actual electrical faults in your circuit.
- Inaccurate readings: Ensure the wiring is correct and secure. If issues persist, contact support.
7. Maintenance
The Wattive JJMVPD-63LWM requires minimal maintenance.
- Keep the device clean and free from dust. Use a soft, dry cloth for cleaning.
- Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Periodically check wiring connections for tightness, especially after initial installation or if the device has been moved.
- Ensure proper ventilation around the device to prevent overheating.
