Setup

Initial Charging:

1. Before first use, fully charge the device.
2. Connect the provided USB-C cable to the charging port on the device.
3. Plug the other end of the USB-C cable into a USB power adapter (not included), computer, or power bank.
4. The four green LED indicators on the device will show the charging status. All four LEDs will be solid green when fully charged. A full charge takes approximately 1.75 hours.

Attaching the Reading Light:

The integrated clip allows you to securely attach the light to books, e-readers, or other surfaces.

1. Open the clip by gently pulling it.
2. Attach the clip to the desired page or cover of your book. The clip is designed with internal plastic material to protect surfaces.
3. Adjust the light head and clip for optimal illumination (see Operating Instructions for details on adjustments).

Operating Instructions

The device features four control buttons for independent operation of the reading light and flashlight functions.

Reading Light Controls:

• Power On/Off (Reading Light): Press the top button (power symbol) briefly to turn the reading light on or off.
• Adjust Brightness: Press the second button from the top (brightness symbol) briefly to cycle through 6 brightness levels (5%-100%). Press and hold this button for 3 seconds for stepless dimming.
• Adjust Color Temperature: Press the third button from the top (color temperature symbol) briefly to cycle through 6 color temperature levels (2200K-7000K). Press and hold this button for stepless color temperature adjustment.

Flashlight Controls:

• Power On/Off (Flashlight): Press the bottom button (flashlight symbol) briefly to turn the flashlight on or off.
• Strobe Mode: Double-click the flashlight button to activate strobe mode. Double-click again to return to constant on mode.
• Adjust Brightness (Flashlight): Press and hold the flashlight button for stepless dimming (from 100% to 30%).

Note: The reading light and flashlight cannot be used simultaneously.

Memory Function:

The device will automatically remember the last used brightness and color temperature settings for the reading light, and the last brightness setting for the flashlight, even after being turned off.

Flexible Angle Adjustment:

• The light head can rotate 90° to the left and right to lock into position.
• The light head can tilt 60° downward.
• The clip can rotate 150°, allowing for various positioning options.

Charging

The Gritin G1316 is equipped with a 1000mAh high-capacity battery, providing extended usage time.

• Battery Life: Up to 160 hours in reading mode (lowest brightness) and up to 8 hours in flashlight mode.
• Charging Time: Approximately 1.75 hours for a full charge.
• Battery Indicators: Four green LEDs indicate the remaining battery level in real-time. Each LED represents approximately 25% charge.
• Charging Port: USB-C.

Maintenance

• Cleaning: Wipe the device with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Storage: Store the device in a cool, dry place when not in use. Avoid extreme temperatures.
• Battery Care: To prolong battery life, charge the device at least once every three months if not used regularly.

Troubleshooting

• Device not turning on: Ensure the device is fully charged. If the battery is low, connect it to a power source using the USB-C cable.
• Light flickering or dim: The battery might be low. Recharge the device.
• Cannot adjust brightness/color temperature: Ensure you are pressing the correct button. For stepless adjustment, press and hold the button.
• Flashlight not working: Remember that the reading light and flashlight cannot be active simultaneously. Ensure the reading light is off before attempting to use the flashlight.
• Charging issue: Check if the USB-C cable is properly connected to both the device and the power source. Try a different USB port or power adapter.
