2. Safety Guidelines

- Maximum Weight Capacity: The top bunk is designed to support a maximum weight of 450 pounds. Do not exceed this limit.
- Mattress Thickness: Use a twin-size mattress with a recommended thickness of 8-10 inches. Ensure the mattress surface is below the top edge of the guardrails.
- Guardrails: The top bunk is equipped with 13.4-inch full-length guardrails. Always ensure they are securely installed to prevent falls.
- Anti-Tip Kit: Securely attach the anti-tip kit to the wall as instructed during assembly to prevent accidental tipping.
- Assembly: Assemble the bed on a soft, clean surface to avoid damage. Ensure all bolts and connectors are tightened securely before use. Periodically check and re-tighten all connections.

4. Assembly Instructions
Assembly of the DICTAC Twin Loft Bed requires two adults. Follow the detailed step-by-step instructions provided in the included installation manual. Each part is clearly numbered for ease of identification.
- Unpack Components: Carefully unpack all parts and lay them out on a clean, soft surface to prevent scratches. Verify all components against the parts list in the installation manual.
- Assemble Bed Frame: Begin by assembling the main metal bed frame according to the manual's diagrams. Ensure all bolts are finger-tightened initially.
- Attach Guardrails and Slats: Install the guardrails and metal slats. The embedded slat design simplifies this process.
- Assemble Staircase and Storage Units: Construct the staircase unit, integrating the fabric storage drawers. Assemble the left-side storage unit with its deep drawers and open shelves.
- Install L-shaped Desk: Attach the L-shaped desk to the bed frame.
- Install Charging Station and LED Lights: Integrate the charging station into the desk and attach the LED strip lights as directed.
- Final Tightening: Once all components are in place, systematically tighten all bolts and screws using the provided tool. Do not overtighten.

The staircase provides safe access to the top bunk with 15.8-inch extra-wide steps and a full-length handrail. Each step integrates a storage compartment, including four deep fabric drawers and two open shelves, ideal for books, decor, or personal items.

5.2. L-shaped Desk with Charging Station
The spacious L-shaped desk provides a dedicated area for studying, gaming, or working. It includes a built-in charging station with 2 AC outlets (125V/12A) and 2 USB ports (5V/2.4A), powered by a 5.2-foot power cord. This allows convenient charging of electronic devices.
