Waterproof Usage Guidelines

The Rollei Sportsline 64 Pro is designed to be waterproof up to a depth of 8 meters (IP68 rating). To maintain its waterproof integrity, follow these critical steps:

  • Before each use in water: Thoroughly inspect the battery compartment cover and any other seals for dirt, sand, hair, or damage. Ensure the cover is completely clean and free of obstructions.
  • Secure Sealing: Close the battery compartment cover firmly until you hear and feel a distinct click. Double-check that it is fully sealed and flush with the camera body. Failure to properly seal the compartment will result in water damage and void the warranty.
  • Depth Limit: Do not exceed the maximum waterproof depth of 8 meters.
  • Temperature: Avoid using the camera in extreme water temperatures.
  • After saltwater use: Rinse the camera thoroughly with fresh, clean water immediately after use in saltwater. Do not open the battery compartment until the camera is dry and clean.
  • Drying: Allow the camera to air dry completely before opening any compartments.

  • Battery Care: Store the battery in a cool, dry place when not in use. Avoid fully discharging the battery for extended periods.
  • Storage: When storing the camera for long periods, remove the battery and memory card. Store the camera in a dry, dust-free environment away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
