4. Setup and Installation
The VEVOR RV Air Conditioner is designed for non-ducted RV systems and fits a standard 14 1/4 x 14 1/4 inch (360 x 360 mm) roof opening. This unit features a slim, low-profile design to minimize wind resistance.
4.1 Site Preparation
- Ensure your RV roof has a standard 14 1/4 x 14 1/4 inch opening. No additional cutting should be required for standard installations.
- Verify the roof structure can support the unit's weight (approximately 95.24 lbs / 43.2 kg).
- Confirm adequate clearance around the installation area on the roof. The unit dimensions are 40.9"D x 29.7"W x 10.6"H (1040 x 755 x 270 mm).

4.2 Electrical Connection
- The unit operates on 120V / 60Hz. Ensure your RV's electrical system can support this requirement.
- Properly route the wiring for the control panel to your desired location. This may involve fishing wires through walls or ceilings.
4.3 Mounting the Unit
- Carefully lift the outdoor unit onto the RV roof, aligning it with the roof opening.
- Install the sealing gaskets to ensure a watertight seal between the unit and the roof.
- Secure the unit using the provided mounting screws from the inside of the RV, through the air distribution box.
- Install the air distribution box (ADB) inside the RV, ensuring it is flush with the ceiling and properly connected to the main unit.

5. Operating Instructions
Your VEVOR RV Air Conditioner can be controlled via the integrated button panel on the Air Distribution Box (ADB) or the included remote control.
5.1 Control Panel and Remote Functions
The control panel and remote offer various functions for optimal comfort:
- MODE: Cycle through operating modes (Auto, Ion, Eco, Dry, Cool, Heat, Fan).
- POWER: Turn the unit On/Off.
- TEMP UP/DOWN: Adjust the desired temperature setting.
- FAN SPEED: Adjust fan speed (Low, Medium, High, Auto).
- TIMER: Set a timer for automatic power on/off.
- SLEEP: Activates sleep mode for quiet operation and energy saving.
- TURBO: Provides maximum cooling/heating for rapid temperature change.

5.3 Temperature Setting (Celsius/Fahrenheit)
To switch the temperature display between Celsius and Fahrenheit, press and hold the TIMER button on the control panel or remote control until the display changes.
6. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your RV air conditioner.
6.1 Air Filter Cleaning
The unit is equipped with an antimicrobial air filter. Clean the air filter regularly, especially during periods of frequent use.
- Disconnect power to the RV air conditioner.
- Open the air distribution box cover inside the RV.
- Remove the air filter(s).
- Wash the filter(s) with mild soap and warm water. Rinse thoroughly.
- Allow the filter(s) to air dry completely before reinstallation. Do not use heat to dry.
- Reinstall the dry filter(s) and close the air distribution box cover.
6.2 Exterior Unit Cleaning
Periodically inspect and clean the exterior unit on the RV roof.
- Ensure the unit is powered off and disconnected.
- Remove any debris, leaves, or dirt from the condenser coils and fan area.
- Wipe down the outer shroud with a damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals that could damage the material.
