2. Safety Information

To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury, always follow these basic safety precautions:

  • Read all instructions before using this appliance.

  • Ensure the power supply matches the voltage specified on the unit's rating label.

4. Setup

4.1 Unpacking and Placement

  1. Carefully remove the unit from its packaging.
  2. Place the air cooler on a firm, level surface. Ensure there is at least 12 inches (30 cm) of space around the unit for proper airflow.
  3. Ensure the rear casters are locked to prevent accidental movement.

4.2 Filling the Water Tank

The unit offers two methods for filling the water tank:

  • Top Fill: Pour clean water directly into the top water inlet.
  • Detachable Tank: Unlock and remove the lower 7-gallon water tank. Fill it with clean water at a sink, then reattach it securely to the unit.

Ensure the water level is between the 'MIN' and 'MAX' indicators on the visible water level window. Do not overfill.

4.3 Adding Ice Packs (Optional)

For enhanced cooling, place the provided ice packs in the freezer until frozen. Once frozen, place them into the water tank. This will help lower the water temperature and provide cooler air.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Power On/Off

  • Plug the power cord into a standard electrical outlet.
  • Press the POWER button on the control panel or remote control to turn the unit on or off.

5.2 Fan Modes and Speed Settings

  • Press the MODE button to cycle through Normal and Natural fan modes.
  • Press the SPEED button to select Low, Medium, or High fan speed.

5.3 Oscillation

  • Press the SWING button to activate or deactivate the 120° oscillation feature, which distributes air across a wider area.

5.4 Timer Function

  • Press the TIMER button to set the automatic shut-off time in 1-hour increments, up to 12 hours. The display will show the selected time.

5.5 Ambient Light Bar

  • The unit features an ambient light bar below the display. This light can be turned off using the remote control's screen display off function.

6. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your evaporative air cooler.

6.1 Cleaning the Water Tank

  1. Unplug the unit from the power outlet.
  2. Remove the detachable lower water tank.
  3. Empty any remaining water.
  4. Clean the tank with a soft cloth and mild detergent. Rinse thoroughly with clean water.
  5. Allow the tank to air dry completely before reattaching it to the unit.

6.2 Cleaning the Cooling Pad

  1. Unplug the unit.
  2. Remove the rear cover plate and carefully slide out the cooling pad.
  3. Rinse the cooling pad under running water to remove dust and mineral deposits. For stubborn buildup, soak in a mild descaling solution (e.g., vinegar and water) for 30 minutes, then rinse thoroughly.
  4. Allow the cooling pad to dry completely before reinserting it into the unit.
