5. Maintenance

5.1 Cabinet Care (MDF Wood)

  • Wipe surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals, which can damage the finish.
  • Promptly wipe up any spills to prevent water damage to the engineered wood.
  • Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or extreme temperature changes.

5.2 Ceramic Sink and Faucet Care

  • Clean the ceramic sink with a mild, non-abrasive cleaner and a soft cloth or sponge. Rinse thoroughly with water.
  • For the faucet, use a soft cloth and mild soap and water. Do not use abrasive cleaners, polishes, or waxes, as these can damage the finish.
  • Regularly check for and remove any mineral deposits around the faucet and drain.

5.3 Laundry Hamper Care

  • The fabric laundry hamper can be removed for cleaning. Spot clean with a damp cloth and mild detergent as needed.
  • Allow the hamper to air dry completely before returning it to the cabinet.

6. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your vanity, refer to the following common solutions:

  • Assembly Difficulties: Review the included Installation Manual carefully. Ensure all parts are correctly oriented and fasteners are tightened appropriately. Do not overtighten.
  • Wobbly Cabinet: Check that the vanity is placed on a level surface. Adjust the leg pads if necessary to stabilize the unit. Ensure all assembly screws are securely fastened.
  • Door Alignment: If cabinet doors are not aligned, adjust the soft-close hinges. Most hinges allow for minor adjustments to horizontal, vertical, and depth alignment. Refer to the hinge manufacturer's instructions if specific adjustments are needed.
  • Leaking Faucet/Drain: Ensure all plumbing connections are tightly secured. Check that plumber's tape or sealant was used correctly on threaded connections. If leaks persist, consult a professional plumber.
  • Slow Drainage: Check the pop-up drain for obstructions. Ensure the drain stopper is fully open when in use.
