Setup

1. Charging the Batteries

  1. Insert the 4.0Ah battery into the fast charger.
  2. Plug the charger into a standard electrical outlet.
  3. Allow the battery to charge fully. The charger indicator light will change when charging is complete.
  4. Remove the battery from the charger once fully charged.

2. Assembling the Trimmer

  1. Attach Trimmer Head to Telescopic Pole: Align the connection points of the trimmer head with the telescopic pole. Push them together until they click securely into place.
  2. Attach Power Handle to Telescopic Pole: Connect the power handle to the other end of the telescopic pole, ensuring a firm connection.
  3. Install Battery: Slide a charged 4.0Ah battery into the battery slot on the power handle until it locks.

Operating Instructions

1. Starting and Stopping

  • To Start: Press and hold the safety lock button, then squeeze the trigger switch. Release the safety lock button once the motor starts.
  • To Stop: Release the trigger switch.

2. Adjusting the Telescopic Pole

The pole extends from 7 to 8.5 feet. To adjust, loosen the locking collar, extend or retract the pole to the desired length, and then securely tighten the locking collar.

3. Adjusting the Cutting Head Angle

The cutting head can pivot up to 135 degrees with multiple positions. To adjust, press the head adjustment button, rotate the head to the desired angle, and release the button to lock it in place. Ensure the head is securely locked before operation.

4. Trimming Techniques

  • General Trimming: Use a sweeping motion, moving the trimmer steadily along the hedge.
  • Top Trimming: Adjust the head to a flat angle and use the extended pole to reach the top of tall hedges.
  • Side Trimming: Hold the trimmer with the blade parallel to the hedge side, moving from bottom to top for a clean finish.
