4. Setup

4.1 Battery Installation and Charging

1. Open the battery compartment cover located on the side or bottom of the camera.
2. Insert a 1350 mAh rechargeable battery, ensuring the contacts align correctly.
3. Close the battery compartment cover securely.
4. To charge, connect the camera to a USB power source using the provided USB cable. The charging indicator light will illuminate.
5. A full charge typically takes approximately 2-3 hours. The indicator light will change or turn off once charging is complete.

4.2 Micro SD Card Installation

1. Locate the Micro SD card slot on the camera.
2. Insert the provided 32GB Micro SD card (or another compatible card, up to 64GB, Class 10 or higher recommended) with the gold contacts facing the correct direction.
3. Push the card gently until it clicks into place. To remove, push it again until it springs out.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Power On/Off

• Power On: Press and hold the Power button (usually located on the top or side) for a few seconds until the screen illuminates.
• Power Off: Press and hold the Power button again until the screen turns off.

5.2 Screen Switching

The camera features both a rear (2.0-inch) and a front (1.3-inch) screen. To switch between screens, locate the screen switch button (refer to the camera's physical layout for exact placement) and press it. This allows for easy self-recording or traditional framing.

5.3 Basic Photo/Video Capture

• Switch Modes: Use the Mode button to cycle through video recording, photo capture, and playback modes.
• Start Recording/Take Photo: In video mode, press the Shutter/OK button to start recording; press again to stop. In photo mode, press the Shutter/OK button to take a picture.
