Setup
- Unpack: Carefully remove all packaging materials, including any protective films or stickers.
- Placement: Place the air fryer on a stable, level, heat-resistant surface. Ensure there is at least 6 inches of clear space around the back and sides of the unit for proper ventilation. Do not place directly under cabinets.
- Initial Cleaning: Before first use, wash the glass basket and the PFAS-free ceramic nonstick crisper plate in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely. Wipe the exterior of the main unit with a clean, damp cloth. Do not immerse the main unit in water.
- Assemble: Insert the crisper plate into the glass basket. Slide the glass basket into the main unit until it clicks securely into place.
- Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet. The display will illuminate.

Cooking Functions
The Cuisinart ClearView Air Fryer offers five primary cooking functions:
- Air Fry: Ideal for achieving crispy textures on foods like fries, chicken wings, and vegetables with minimal oil.
- Recrisp: Perfect for reheating leftovers and restoring their original crispness.
- Bake: Suitable for baking small items such as muffins or casseroles.

Adjusting Temperature and Time
- Select your desired cooking function.
- Use the temperature adjustment buttons (up/down arrows next to the thermometer icon) to set the temperature. The temperature can be adjusted up to 450°F in 5-degree increments.
- Use the time adjustment buttons (up/down arrows next to the clock icon) to set the cooking duration.
- Press the Start/Pause button to begin cooking.

Shake Reminder
For even cooking and browning, the air fryer features a 'Shake Reminder'. During certain cooking cycles, the unit will beep to prompt you to shake or flip the food in the basket. You can acknowledge and continue or override this reminder.
Custom Presets
The air fryer includes two customizable preset buttons (Custom Fav 1, Custom Fav 2). You can program these buttons with your frequently used cooking function, temperature, and time settings for quick access.
Monitoring Food

Maintenance
Cleaning
Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your air fryer.
- Before Cleaning: Always unplug the air fryer from the power outlet and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
- Glass Basket and Crisper Plate: Both the glass basket and the PFAS-free ceramic nonstick crisper plate are dishwasher safe for easy cleaning. For hand washing, use warm, soapy water and a non-abrasive sponge.
- Main Unit: Wipe the exterior of the main unit with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads. Never immerse the main unit in water or any other liquid.
- Interior: Wipe the interior of the air fryer with a damp cloth. Remove any food residue from the heating element and fan area.
Storage
When not in use, ensure the air fryer is clean and dry. The included storage lid can be used to cover the glass basket if storing food inside. The power cord can be wrapped around the cord storage area on the back of the appliance for neat storage.
