4. Setup

4.1 Initial Assembly

Your SISIGAD X6 Electric Bike may require minor assembly upon arrival. Please refer to the separate assembly guide for detailed instructions on attaching the front wheel, handlebars, pedals, and any other components.

4.2 Battery Installation and Charging

1. Ensure the bike is powered off before installing or removing the battery.
2. Insert the 48V 15Ah removable battery into its compartment and lock it securely with the provided key.
3. Connect the charger to the bike's charging port and then to a standard power outlet. The charging indicator light will show the charging status.
4. A full charge typically takes 5-6 hours. Disconnect the charger once fully charged to prolong battery life.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Powering On/Off

Press and hold the power button on the LCD display to turn the bike on or off.

5.2 Riding Modes

The SISIGAD X6 offers three riding modes:

• Electric Mode: Pure electric power, driven solely by the motor.
• Assisted Mode: Combines pedal power with motor assistance, ideal for longer rides. Adjust assistance levels (1-5) using the +/- buttons on the display.
• Ordinary Cycling Mode: Traditional pedal power without motor assistance.

5.3 Using the Throttle

The twist throttle provides instant acceleration in Electric Mode or can supplement pedal assist. Apply gently and increase as needed.

5.4 Shifting Gears

Use the 7-speed Shimano derailleur to adjust your gear ratio for different terrains and inclines. Shift smoothly to avoid strain on the chain and gears.

5.5 Lights and Display

Activate the large LED headlight and bright taillights using the controls on the handlebar for improved visibility, especially in low-light conditions. The LCD display provides real-time information about your ride.

6. Maintenance

Regular maintenance is crucial for the longevity and safe operation of your electric bike.

• Tires: Check tire pressure before each ride. Ensure tires are free from punctures or excessive wear.
• Brakes: Regularly inspect brake pads and discs for wear. Ensure brake levers engage smoothly and provide adequate stopping power. Adjust as needed.
• Chain: Keep the chain clean and lubricated to prevent rust and ensure smooth gear changes.
• Battery: Store the battery in a cool, dry place. Avoid fully discharging the battery for extended periods. Charge regularly, even if not in use.
• General Cleaning: Clean the bike with a damp cloth. Avoid high-pressure washing directly on electrical components.
• Fasteners: Periodically check all bolts, nuts, and quick releases to ensure they are tightened to the manufacturer's specifications.
