2. Safety Information
Riding an electric scooter carries inherent risks. To minimize these risks, always adhere to the following safety guidelines:
- Always wear a helmet and appropriate safety gear, including knee and elbow pads.
- Familiarize yourself with local laws and regulations regarding electric scooter use.
- Do not ride in wet conditions, heavy rain, or through puddles deeper than 1 inch. The scooter has an IP65 water-resistant rating, but it is not waterproof.
- Maintain a safe speed and distance from other vehicles and pedestrians.
- Avoid sudden turns, braking, or acceleration.
- Ensure the scooter is fully charged and all components are securely fastened before each ride.
- Do not allow children under the age of 16 to operate the scooter.
- The maximum load capacity is 265 lbs (120 kg). Do not exceed this limit.
- Be aware of your surroundings and potential hazards such as potholes, uneven surfaces, and obstacles.

4. Setup
Unboxing and Initial Assembly:
- Carefully remove the scooter and all accessories from the packaging.
- Unfold the scooter by releasing the folding mechanism. Ensure the stem locks securely into place.
- Attach the handlebars to the stem, ensuring all cables are properly connected and not pinched. Tighten any screws as instructed in the quick start guide (not included in this manual).
Initial Charging:
Before your first ride, fully charge the scooter's battery. The charger is included in the box.
- Locate the charging port, usually on the side of the deck.
- Connect the charger to the scooter, then plug the charger into a power outlet.

5. Operating Instructions
Power On/Off:
- To power on, press and hold the power button on the LED display for a few seconds.
- To power off, press and hold the power button again until the display turns off.
Riding the Scooter:
- Place one foot on the deck and push off with the other foot to gain initial momentum.
- Once moving, gently press the accelerator lever (throttle) to engage the motor.
- To brake, release the accelerator and gently squeeze the brake levers. The scooter features a dual braking system for effective stopping.
- To change speed modes (Eco, Drive, Sport), short press the power button while the scooter is on.
- The LED display shows your current speed, battery level, and active speed mode.
Folding and Portability:
The scooter features a one-step folding mechanism for easy transport and storage.
- Ensure the scooter is powered off.
- Locate and release the folding latch on the stem.
- Fold the stem down until it clicks into place, securing it to the rear fender.
- To unfold, release the latch and raise the stem until it locks upright.

App Control:
The Roinside Electric Scooter can be connected to a smartphone app for additional features:
- Download the official Roinside app from your device's app store.
- Follow the in-app instructions to pair your scooter via Bluetooth.

6. Maintenance

Brake Inspection:
