- Connect the other end of the car charger cable to the power input port on the dash cam.
- The dash cam will automatically power on and begin recording when the vehicle's ignition is turned on.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Basic Recording
Once powered on, the dash cam automatically starts continuous loop recording. Older files will be overwritten by new recordings when the memory card is full, unless they are locked files.
5.2 WiFi Connectivity and App Control
- Download the dedicated mobile application (refer to the manual for app name or QR code).
- Enable WiFi on your smartphone and connect to the dash cam's WiFi network (SSID and password typically found on the device or in the manual).
- Open the app to access live preview, playback recorded videos, download files to your phone, and share content.
5.3 Motion Detection
When the dash cam is in standby mode, if it detects movement in front of the vehicle, it will automatically start recording. This feature helps capture events when the vehicle is parked.
5.4 24-Hour Parking Monitoring with G-Sensor
The built-in G-sensor detects sudden impacts or vibrations. If an abnormal vibration is detected while the car is parked, the dash cam will automatically power on, record for one minute, save and lock the file, and then return to standby mode. This protects critical footage from being overwritten.
6. Maintenance
- Cleaning the Lens: Use a soft, lint-free cloth to gently wipe the camera lenses. Avoid abrasive materials or chemical cleaners.
- MicroSD Card: Format the MicroSD card regularly (e.g., once a month) through the dash cam's settings or the mobile app to ensure optimal performance and prevent data corruption. Back up important files before formatting.
- Temperature: Avoid exposing the dash cam to extreme temperatures for extended periods, as this can affect battery life and device performance.
- Firmware Updates: Check the manufacturer's website or the mobile app periodically for firmware updates to improve performance and add new features.
