Clean your e-bike regularly with a damp cloth. Avoid using high-pressure water jets directly on electrical components. Lubricate the chain periodically to ensure smooth operation.
6. Troubleshooting
- Bike Not Powering On: Check if the battery is fully charged and correctly installed. Ensure all connections are secure.
- Motor Not Assisting: Verify that the pedal assist system is activated and a assist level is selected. Check for any error codes on the display.
- Brakes Not Effective: Inspect brake pads for wear. Check brake cable tension and adjust if necessary. Ensure disc rotors are clean and free from oil or grease.
- Unusual Noises: Identify the source of the noise. It could be loose components, a dry chain, or issues with the motor or gears. Consult a professional if the issue persists.
