3. Setup

3.1 Unpacking

Carefully remove the air cooler from its packaging. Inspect the unit for any damage. Ensure all components, including the remote control and ice packs, are present.

3.2 Placement

Place the air cooler on a firm, level surface. For optimal performance, position the unit in an area with good air circulation. Ensure there is at least 20 inches of space around the unit for proper airflow.

3.3 Filling the Water Tank

The unit offers two methods for water filling:

  • Top Fill: Open the top cover and pour water directly into the water tank.
  • Hose Connection: Connect a standard garden hose to the water inlet port located on the front of the unit for continuous water supply.

Do not overfill the water tank beyond the maximum fill line indicated on the unit.

3.4 Using Ice Packs

For enhanced cooling, place the provided ice packs in the freezer until frozen. Once frozen, place them into the designated compartments in the water tank. This will help lower the water temperature and provide cooler air.

4. Operating Instructions

The Uthfy Evaporative Air Cooler can be operated using the touch control panel on the unit or the included remote control.

4.1 Power On/Off

  • Press the ON/OFF button on the control panel or remote to turn the unit on or off.

4.2 Mode Selection

Press the MODE button to cycle through the available modes:

  • Normal Mode: Provides continuous airflow at the selected speed.
  • Cooling Mode: Activates the evaporative cooling function, circulating water through the cooling pads.
  • Sleep Mode: Operates at a lower speed and noise level for quiet operation during sleep.

4.3 Speed Adjustment

Press the SPEED button to select from 3 wind speeds: Low, Medium, and High.

4.4 Oscillation

Press the SWING button to activate or deactivate the 120° automatic oscillation feature, which distributes cool air across a wider area.

4.5 Timer Function

Press the TIMER button to set the operating time from 1 to 12 hours. The unit will automatically turn off after the set time has elapsed.

4.6 Remote Control

The remote control allows you to adjust all functions from up to 26 feet away. Ensure the remote control has working batteries and is pointed towards the unit's receiver.

5. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your air cooler.

5.1 Cleaning the Water Tank

  • Unplug the unit before cleaning.
  • Drain any remaining water from the tank using the drain plug at the bottom.
  • Wipe the inside of the water tank with a soft cloth and mild detergent. Rinse thoroughly.
  • Allow the tank to air dry completely before refilling or storing.

5.2 Cleaning Cooling Pads

  • The cooling pads should be cleaned periodically, especially in areas with hard water.
  • Remove the cooling pads according to the diagrams in the manual (refer to product diagrams for specific removal instructions).
  • Rinse the pads under running water to remove dust and mineral deposits. For stubborn deposits, soak in a mild descaling solution.
  • Allow the pads to dry completely before reinserting them into the unit.

5.3 Exterior Cleaning

  • Wipe the exterior surfaces of the unit with a soft, damp cloth.
  • Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.

5.4 Storage

  • Before storing, ensure the water tank is empty and clean, and the cooling pads are dry.
  • Store the unit in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Cover the unit to protect it from dust.

6. Troubleshooting
