3. Setup and Installation

3.1. Battery Installation

  1. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the timer.
  2. Slide the battery cover off.
  3. Insert two AA alkaline batteries (not included), ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
  4. Replace the battery cover securely. The timer display should activate.

3.2. Connecting to Faucet

  1. Ensure your outdoor faucet is turned off.

4.1. Setting the Clock

  1. Press the NOW button to enter the clock setting mode.
  2. Use the UP/DOWN arrows to select between 12-hour or 24-hour format. Press OK to confirm.
  3. Use the UP/DOWN arrows to set the current hour, then press OK.
  4. Use the UP/DOWN arrows to set the current minute, then press OK to save.

4.2. Programming Watering Schedules

Each of the four zones can be programmed independently.

  1. Select the desired zone (1, 2, 3, or 4) by pressing the corresponding zone button.
  2. Press the NOW button to cycle through programming options: Start Time, How Long (Duration), How Often (Frequency).
  3. Set Start Time: When 'START TIME' is displayed, use the UP/DOWN arrows to set the desired start hour and minute. Press OK to confirm.
  4. Set Duration (How Long): When 'HOW LONG' is displayed, use the UP/DOWN arrows to set the watering duration from 1 to 360 minutes. Press OK to confirm.
  5. Set Frequency (How Often): When 'HOW OFTEN' is displayed, use the UP/DOWN arrows to set the watering frequency (e.g., every 1-23 hours or every 1-15 days). Press OK to confirm.
  6. Repeat for other zones as needed.

4.3. Manual Watering

To water immediately without affecting programmed schedules:

  1. Press the MANUAL button.
  2. Use the UP/DOWN arrows to select the desired watering duration (e.g., 0 min, 180 min, 360 min).
  3. Press OK to start manual watering.
  4. To stop manual watering, press ESC/OFF.
  5. Note: If multiple zones are selected for manual watering, the valves will open sequentially.

4.4. Rain Delay Function

To temporarily pause watering during rainy weather:

  1. Press the DELAY button.
  2. Use the UP/DOWN arrows to select the desired delay duration (e.g., 1 day, 2 days, up to 15 days).
  3. Press OK to activate the rain delay. The timer will resume its programmed schedule after the delay period.
  4. To cancel the rain delay, press DELAY again and set the delay to 0, or press ESC/OFF.

4.5. Child Lock Function

  1. To activate the child lock, press and hold the OK button for 3 seconds until a lock icon appears on the display.
  2. To deactivate, press and hold the OK button again for 3 seconds until the lock icon disappears.

  • NOW: Shows the current time and active programmed schedule details (Start Time, How Long, How Often).
  • Manual Watering: Displays the remaining time for manual watering.

5. Maintenance

5.1. Battery Replacement
