Introduction

Safety Information

Assembly and Setup

1. Unpacking

Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Retain the packaging for future storage or transport.

2. Scope Mounting

The 4x32 scope is typically included and may require mounting. Secure the scope to the rifle's 11mm aluminum rail using the provided rings. Ensure the scope is level and positioned for comfortable eye relief. Tighten all screws firmly but do not overtighten.

3. Magazine Installation

The 10-shot magazine is designed for quick loading. To install, ensure the rifle is uncocked and on 'Safe'. Insert the loaded magazine into the receiver until it clicks into place.

4. Initial Inspection

Before first use, inspect the air rifle for any visible damage or loose parts. Ensure the barrel is clear of obstructions.

Operating Instructions

1. Loading Pellets

The Gamo Swarm Whisper uses a 10X Quick-Shot magazine. To load the magazine:

1. Remove the magazine from the rifle.
2. Rotate the inner rotor to expose the pellet chambers.
3. Insert .177 caliber pellets into each chamber, ensuring they are seated correctly.
4. Return the magazine to the rifle.

2. Cocking the Rifle

The Gamo Swarm Whisper is a break-barrel air rifle:

1. Point the muzzle in a safe direction.
2. Grasp the barrel and firmly pull it downwards and backward until the internal mechanism cocks and the automatic safety engages.
3. Return the barrel to its original position, ensuring it locks securely. This action also indexes a new pellet from the magazine into the breech.

3. Engaging/Disengaging Safety

The air rifle features an automatic safety that engages when the rifle is cocked. To disengage the safety, push the safety lever forward just before firing. Always ensure the safety is engaged until you are ready to take a shot.

4. Aiming and Firing

With the rifle cocked, safety disengaged, and a clear target, align your sights or scope. Gently squeeze the trigger to fire. After firing, the rifle must be cocked again to load the next pellet and prepare for another shot.

Maintenance

1. Cleaning the Barrel

Regularly clean the barrel to maintain accuracy. Use a cleaning rod with appropriate patches and air rifle cleaning solvent. Clean from the breech end if possible, or use a pull-through system.

2. General Care

Wipe down the exterior of the air rifle with a clean, dry cloth after each use to remove moisture and debris. Apply a light coat of silicone oil to metal parts to prevent corrosion. Avoid using petroleum-based oils on seals or synthetic components.

3. Pellet Selection

• Inaccuracy: If the rifle is consistently inaccurate, check the scope mounting for tightness. Ensure the scope has been properly sighted in. Verify that pellets are seated correctly in the magazine and that the barrel is clean. Different pellet types can significantly affect accuracy.
