2. Setup
2.1 Unpacking

2.2 Placement

2.3 Power Connection
Plug the power cord into a suitable grounded electrical outlet. Ensure the voltage matches the specifications of the unit.
2.4 Drainage Options
Your Uthfy dehumidifier offers two drainage methods:
- Manual Drainage (Water Tank): The unit will collect condensed water in its internal 1.6-gallon water tank. When the tank is full, the dehumidifier will automatically shut off and an indicator light will illuminate. You will need to manually empty the tank.
- Continuous Drainage (Drain Hose): For uninterrupted operation, attach the included drain hose to the continuous drain port located on the back of the unit. Route the hose to a suitable floor drain or a larger container, ensuring a downward slope for gravity drainage.

3. Operating Instructions

3.1 Power On/Off
Press the Power button to turn the dehumidifier on or off.
3.2 Humidity Setting
- Auto Mode (Comfort Mode): Press the Mode button until 'Comfort Mode' is selected. The unit will automatically maintain an optimal indoor humidity level between 45% and 55% RH.
- Custom Mode: Press the Humidity button to set your desired humidity level. You can adjust it in 5% increments from 40% to 80% RH. The unit will operate until the set humidity is reached, then cycle on and off to maintain it.

3.3 Fan Speed
Press the Fan Speed button to cycle through High, Medium, and Low fan settings. Adjust the speed based on your preference and the required dehumidification rate.
3.4 Timer
Press the Timer button to set an auto-on or auto-off time from 1 to 24 hours. This allows you to schedule the dehumidifier's operation according to your needs.
3.5 Child Lock
To activate or deactivate the Child Lock, press and hold the Child Lock button for 3 seconds. This feature prevents unintended changes to the settings.
3.6 Auto Defrost

4. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your dehumidifier.
4.1 Emptying the Water Tank
When the water tank is full, the dehumidifier will automatically stop operating, and a 'Water Full' indicator will illuminate. To empty the tank:
- Gently pull out the water tank from the front of the unit.
- Empty the collected water.
- Carefully reinsert the empty water tank back into the unit until it clicks into place. The unit will resume operation if the humidity is above the set level.
4.2 Cleaning the Air Filter
The removable and washable air filter should be cleaned approximately every two weeks, or more frequently depending on usage and air quality, to maintain efficiency.
- Turn off and unplug the dehumidifier from the power outlet.
- Locate and remove the air filter from the back of the unit.
- Wash the filter with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly to remove all dirt and debris.
- Allow the filter to air dry completely before reinstalling it into the unit. Do not use a dryer or direct heat.
4.3 Storage

- Ensure the water tank is completely empty and dry.
- Clean the air filter and ensure it is dry before reinstallation.
