Setup

1. Power Connection

Connect the included 33W Fast Charger to the USB-C Power In port on the docking station, then plug the charger into a power outlet. Ensure the power switch on the docking station is in the OFF position before connecting drives.

2. Inserting Hard Drives

With the power off, gently insert your 2.5-inch or 3.5-inch SATA HDD/SSD into the drive bays. The bays are designed for tool-free installation. Ensure the drives are fully seated in the SATA connectors.

3. Connecting to Computer (for Read/Write)

Use the provided USB-A/C to USB-C cable to connect the docking station's USB 3.0-C port to an available USB port on your computer. The docking station is plug-and-play; no drivers are typically required.

4. Initializing New SSDs

For new SSDs, they may need to be initialized and formatted through your computer's Disk Management (Windows) or Disk Utility (macOS) before they can be recognized and used.

Operating Instructions

Read & Write Function

  1. Ensure hard drives are inserted into the dock.
  2. Connect the power adapter and plug it into an electrical outlet.
  3. Connect the docking station to your computer using the USB cable.
  4. Press the Power Button to turn on the device. The Disk A and Disk B indicators will light up if drives are detected.
  5. Your computer should now recognize the drives, allowing you to read and write data.

Offline Clone Function

  1. Ensure the docking station is powered off.
  2. Insert the source drive into Slot A and the target drive into Slot B.
  3. Connect the power adapter and plug it into an electrical outlet. Do NOT connect the docking station to a computer.
  4. Press the Power Button to turn on the device.
  5. Press and hold the CLONE button for 3 seconds until the Copy Indicator LEDs begin to flash. This indicates the cloning process has started.
  6. The Copy Indicator LEDs will show the cloning progress (25%, 50%, 75%, 100%).
  7. When all four Copy Indicator LEDs are solid, the cloning process is complete.

Important Notes for Cloning:

  • Cloning is always from Slot A (Source) to Slot B (Target).
  • The capacity of the target drive (Slot B) must be equal to or greater than the capacity of the source drive (Slot A).
  • Offline cloning will overwrite all existing data on the target drive. Ensure you back up any important files from the target drive before initiating the cloning process.
  • Ensure there are no bad blocks on the target disk; otherwise, the copy process may fail.
