Assembly Instructions

Follow these steps carefully to assemble your tectake Metal Display Cabinet. It is recommended to have two people for assembly.

1. Prepare the Area: Clear a spacious, clean, and flat area for assembly. Lay down a blanket or cardboard to protect the cabinet parts and your floor.
2. Identify Components: Unpack all components and compare them with the package contents list. Familiarize yourself with the different parts.
3. Assemble the Frame: Begin by connecting the main frame components (side panels, top, and bottom panels) using the provided screws and fasteners. Ensure all connections are secure but do not overtighten initially.
4. Attach Back Panel: Carefully slide or attach the back panel into its designated grooves or mounting points. Secure it with the appropriate fasteners.
5. Install Adjustable Feet: Screw the adjustable feet into the bottom corners of the cabinet. These can be adjusted later to level the cabinet on uneven floors.
6. Install Door Hinges and Doors: Attach the hinges to the cabinet frame and then to the glass doors. Carefully mount the doors onto the cabinet. Ensure the doors swing freely and align correctly. The magnetic closures should engage properly.

7. Insert Glass Shelves: The cabinet features adjustable shelf supports. Insert the shelf pins into the desired height slots. Carefully place the glass shelves onto these supports. Ensure they are stable before placing items on them.
8. Install Anti-Tip Hardware: This is a critical safety step. Securely attach the anti-tip hardware to the top rear of the cabinet and then to a wall stud using appropriate wall anchors (not always included, check local building codes). This prevents the cabinet from tipping over.
9. Final Adjustments: Once assembled, gently move the cabinet to its final position. Adjust the feet to ensure the cabinet is level and stable. Check all screws and fasteners for tightness.

Operating Instructions

• Opening and Closing Doors: Gently pull the door handles to open the glass doors. The magnetic closure will release. To close, push the doors firmly until the magnets engage.
• Adjusting Shelves: To adjust the height of the glass shelves, carefully remove all items from the shelf. Lift the shelf slightly and remove the shelf pins from their current slots. Reinsert the pins into the desired new slots, ensuring they are level and secure. Then, carefully place the glass shelf back onto the pins.
• Loading Items: Place items carefully onto the shelves, ensuring weight is distributed evenly. Do not exceed the maximum load capacity of 25 kg per shelf.

Maintenance

Troubleshooting

Cabinet is wobbly or unstable:

Ensure all assembly screws are tightened. Adjust the leveling feet at the bottom of the cabinet to compensate for uneven flooring. Verify that the anti-tip hardware is securely installed to a wall stud.

Doors do not close properly or are misaligned:

Check the hinge alignment and adjust if necessary. Ensure the magnetic closures are properly positioned and free from obstruction. Verify that the cabinet itself is level.

Glass shelves are not level:

Ensure the shelf pins are inserted into corresponding slots on both sides of the cabinet at the same height. Check that the cabinet is level using the adjustable feet.
