Important Safety Instructions

Please read all instructions carefully before using the OGHom HL6 Handheld Garment Steamer. Failure to follow these instructions may result in electric shock, fire, or serious injury.

  • This appliance is for household use only.
  • Only applicable to 110-120V voltage. Plugging into a 220V-240V outlet with an adapter or portable converter will cause a malfunction and is unsafe.
  • Do not touch the steam nozzle while it is hot or during operation.
  • Always ensure the water is below the Max line in the water tank to prevent hot water spray.
  • Hold the steamer upright during use. Do not tilt the steamer to prevent water spurting out.
  • Use only distilled or purified water. Do not add any chemical substances, perfumes, or detergents into the water tank, as this will damage the device.
  • Keep the appliance away from children.
  • Unplug the steamer when not in use and before cleaning.
  • Do not operate the steamer with a damaged cord or plug.
  • Do not immerse the steamer in water or other liquids.

Setup

  1. Ensure the steamer is unplugged before filling the water tank.
  2. Twist the steam nozzle counter-clockwise to open the water tank.
  3. Fill the water tank with distilled or purified water up to the "MAX" line (240ml capacity). Do not overfill.
  4. Twist the steam nozzle clockwise to securely close the water tank.
  5. Place the steamer on a flat, stable surface.
  6. Plug the power cord into a standard 110-120V AC electrical outlet. The power indicator light will illuminate.

Operating Instructions

  1. After plugging in, allow the steamer to heat up. The indicator light will show when it's ready (typically within seconds).
  2. Hang the garment you wish to steam on a hanger. For best results, pull the fabric taut with one hand while steaming with the other.
  3. Hold the steamer upright, approximately 1-2 inches away from the fabric.
  4. Press the steam trigger (if applicable, or simply direct the steam) and move the steamer slowly over the wrinkled areas in a downward motion.
  5. For stubborn wrinkles, pass the steamer over the area multiple times.
  6. The steamer provides up to 15 minutes of continuous steam.
  7. After steaming, allow the garment to cool and dry before wearing or storing.
  8. To turn off, unplug the steamer from the electrical outlet.

Maintenance

Cleaning

  1. Ensure the steamer is unplugged and completely cooled before cleaning.
  2. Empty any remaining water from the tank.
  3. Wipe the exterior of the steamer with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  4. For mineral buildup in the nozzle, use a cotton swab dipped in white vinegar to gently clean the steam vents. Rinse with a small amount of distilled water.

Storage

Store the steamer in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and out of reach of children. Ensure the water tank is empty before storage.
