1. Important Safety Information

2. Product Overview

The RAPSUAR Wall Mount Range Hood (Model: Wall-mounted-TW1) is a 30-inch stainless steel unit designed for efficient kitchen ventilation. It features 1200 CFM powerful suction, 4-speed fan control, gesture and touch controls, dimmable LED lighting, and dishwasher-safe baffle filters.

3. Setup and Installation

Professional installation is recommended. Ensure the mounting surface is structurally sound to support the weight of the range hood.

Mounting Location:

This is a wall-mount range hood. It should be installed directly above your cooking surface. Maintain appropriate clearance as specified in the full installation guide (not provided here, refer to packaging for detailed instructions).

Ducting:

The unit requires ducted ventilation. Connect the exhaust outlet to appropriate ductwork that leads to the outside. Ensure all duct connections are sealed to prevent air leaks.

4. Operating Instructions

The range hood features both touch and gesture controls for convenient operation.

Control Panel Overview:

Power On/Off:

Press the Power button (Power icon) to turn the range hood on or off.

Fan Speed Adjustment (Touch Control):

The range hood has 4 adjustable fan speeds (F1-F4).

  1. Press the "+" button to increase the fan speed.
  2. Press the "-" button to decrease the fan speed.

Fan Speed Adjustment (Gesture Control):

Gesture control is enabled by default. Wave your hand in front of the control panel to adjust fan speed.

  • Wave your hand to the right to increase fan speed.
  • Wave your hand to the left to decrease fan speed.

LED Light Control:

The range hood is equipped with 2 dimmable LED lights.

  • Press the Light button (Light icon) to turn the lights on or off.
  • Press and hold the Light button to adjust the brightness (dimming or brightening).

Timer Function and Delayed Shut-off:

The range hood includes a timer for delayed shut-off.

  • Delayed Shut-off (180 seconds): Tap the Timer button (Timer icon) to activate the 180-second delayed shut-off mode. The fan will continue to run for 180 seconds and then turn off automatically.
  • Custom Timer (up to 15 minutes): Press and hold the Timer button to set a custom shut-off time, adjustable up to 15 minutes. Use the "+" and "-" buttons to adjust the time.

5. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your range hood.

Cleaning Baffle Filters:

The range hood is equipped with heavy-duty stainless steel baffle filters that are dishwasher-safe.

  1. To remove, locate the release latches on each filter and pull down.
  2. Place filters in a dishwasher for cleaning or wash by hand with warm, soapy water.
  3. Ensure filters are completely dry before re-installing.
  4. To re-install, align the filters with the slots and push up until they click into place.

Cleaning the Oil Cup:

The detachable oil cup collects grease and impurities.

  1. Carefully slide out the oil cup from its housing.
  2. Empty collected grease and wash the cup with warm, soapy water.
  3. Ensure the oil cup is clean and dry before re-inserting.

Cleaning the Exterior:

Wipe the stainless steel surface with a soft cloth and a non-abrasive stainless steel cleaner. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive pads that can scratch the finish.

6. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
