Your guide to setting up, using, and maintaining your Night Cat tent.
1. Introduction
Thank you for choosing the Night Cat Pop-up Camping Tent. This manual provides essential information for the safe and efficient use of your tent. Please read it thoroughly before initial setup and retain it for future reference.
2. Safety Instructions
- Keep all flame and heat sources away from the tent fabric. The tent is made of flammable material.
- Do not use gas or electric heaters inside the tent.
- Ensure adequate ventilation to prevent suffocation.
- Do not pitch the tent near open flames, steep slopes, or unstable ground.
- Secure the tent properly with stakes and guylines in windy conditions to prevent damage or injury.
- Avoid setting up the tent under trees with dead branches that could fall.
- Supervise children around the tent.
3. Package Contents
Verify that all components are present before attempting to set up your tent:
- 1 x Night Cat Pop-up Camping Tent
- Stakes (Quantity: As supplied, typically 4-8)
- Guylines (Quantity: As supplied, typically 4)
- Carry Bag
4. Setup Instructions
The Night Cat Pop-up Tent is designed for quick and easy setup, typically within 60 seconds.
- Unpack the Tent: Remove the tent from its carry bag. It will be in a compact, folded circular shape.
- Release and Pop-Up: Hold the tent away from your face and gently release the retaining strap. The tent will automatically spring open into its full shape. Ensure there is enough clear space around you during this step.
- Position the Tent: Place the tent in your desired location.
- Secure with Stakes: Use the provided stakes to secure the tent to the ground through the loops at the base. This prevents the tent from shifting or blowing away.
- Attach Guylines (Optional, Recommended for Wind): For added stability, especially in windy conditions, attach the guylines to the designated points on the tent and stake them firmly into the ground at an appropriate angle.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Ventilation
The tent features two large doors and two wide windows to ensure good airflow. Open these to maintain ventilation and reduce condensation, especially in humid conditions.
5.2 Porch Setup
The tent doors can be extended to create a front porch. This requires your own trekking poles or outdoor sticks (not included). Set up the poles to support the door fabric, providing a shaded area in front of the tent.

5.3 Waterproofing
The tent is constructed from 190T Polyester Taffeta with a PU 2000mm waterproof rating and taped seams to keep the interior dry during rain. While designed to be rainproof, extreme weather conditions may still challenge its limits. Always ensure all zippers are fully closed during rain.

6. Folding and Storage
Folding the tent back into its compact form is a unique process. Practice may be required to master it.
- Lay Flat: Ensure the tent is clean and dry. Lay it flat on the ground.
- Form a Figure '8': Grasp two opposite corners of the tent. Twist the tent to form a figure '8' shape.
- Fold Twice: Bring the two loops of the '8' together, effectively folding the tent in half. Repeat this folding action once more, creating a smaller, compact circle.
- Secure and Store: Use the elastic strap to secure the folded tent. Place it back into its carry bag. The folded package size is approximately 35.4 x 35.4 x 3.54 inches.

7. Troubleshooting
7.1 Condensation
Condensation is a natural phenomenon that can occur in tents when there is a significant temperature difference between the inside and outside, or high humidity. Warm, moist air inside the tent comes into contact with the cooler tent fabric, causing water vapor to condense into liquid droplets.
- Increase Ventilation: Open doors and windows (mesh layers) to allow air to circulate. This helps equalize temperatures and reduce humidity inside.
- Avoid Bringing Wet Items Inside: Do not bring wet clothes, towels, or gear into the tent, as these contribute to internal humidity.
- Choose Campsite Wisely: Avoid pitching the tent in low-lying areas or near bodies of water where humidity is higher.
