Setup and Assembly Instructions

Assembly typically requires two adults. Please follow these steps carefully.

Tools Required:

• Phillips Head Screwdriver (not included)
• Allen Wrench (included in hardware pack)

Step-by-Step Assembly:

1. Unpack and Identify Parts: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Lay them out on a clean, soft surface to prevent scratches. Refer to the parts list (not provided in this manual, but typically included in the physical package) to identify each piece.

2. Assemble the Main Bed Frame: Connect the long side rails to the headboard and footboard using the provided bolts and nuts. Ensure all connections are secure but do not fully tighten until the frame is complete.
3. Install Ladder: Attach the ladder to the designated side of the bed frame using the specified hardware. Confirm the ladder is firmly attached and stable.
4. Attach Bookshelf: Secure the bookshelf unit to the front guardrail of the bed frame. Ensure it is level and all fasteners are tight.

5. Place Slats: Lay the mattress support slats across the bed frame. Secure them according to the instructions (usually by screwing them into the side rails or using plastic caps).
6. Install Canopy: Attach the canopy fabric to the designated support rods and then secure the rods to the bed frame. Follow the specific instructions for your canopy design to ensure it is taut and properly positioned.

7. Attach LED Lights: Carefully string the LED lights along the underside of the guardrail or as indicated in the specific light installation guide. Ensure the power source is accessible and safely positioned.
8. Final Tightening: Once the entire bed is assembled, go back and fully tighten all bolts and screws. Do not overtighten.

Operating Instructions and Usage Guidelines

General Use:

• This loft bed is designed for a Twin-sized mattress.
• The recommended mattress thickness is 6-8 inches.
• Always use the ladder to access and exit the loft bed.
• Ensure the area underneath the bed is clear for safe play or study.

LED Lights:

• Connect the LED light string to a suitable power source.
• Operate the lights using the integrated switch or remote control (if included).
• Do not expose LED lights to excessive moisture.

Bookshelf:

• The bookshelf is designed for lightweight items such as books, small toys, or decorative objects.
• Do not overload the bookshelf to prevent damage or instability.

Maintenance

Cleaning:

• Wood Frame: Wipe with a dry cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals that may damage the wood finish.
• Canopy: Spot clean with a damp cloth and mild detergent if necessary. Allow to air dry completely. Do not machine wash unless specified by a care label (not provided here).
• LED Lights: Gently wipe with a dry cloth. Ensure lights are unplugged before cleaning.

Regular Checks:

• Periodically inspect all bolts, screws, and connections to ensure they remain tight. Retighten as needed.
• Check the ladder for any signs of wear or damage.
• Inspect the slats for any cracks or damage that could compromise mattress support.
