Operating Instructions
Cooking Rice
- Measure Rice: Use the included measuring cup to measure the desired amount of rice. One full cup of uncooked rice yields approximately two cups of cooked rice. The maximum capacity is 8 cups of uncooked rice, yielding 16 cups cooked.
- Rinse Rice: Rinse the rice in a separate bowl until the water runs clear. This helps remove excess starch.
- Add Water: Transfer the rinsed rice to the cooking bowl. Add the appropriate amount of water. A general guideline is 1:1 ratio for white rice (e.g., 1 cup rice to 1 cup water), but refer to your rice packaging for specific recommendations.
- Place Bowl: Place the cooking bowl into the rice cooker base. Ensure it is seated properly.
- Close Lid: Place the glass lid securely on the rice cooker.
- Plug In & Cook: Plug the power cord into a standard electrical outlet. Press the 'Cook' switch down. The 'Cook' indicator light will illuminate.
- Automatic Keep Warm: Once the rice is cooked, the cooker will automatically switch to the 'Warm' setting, and the 'Warm' indicator light will illuminate.
- Fluff & Serve: Allow the rice to rest on 'Warm' for 5-10 minutes after cooking for best results. Then, open the lid, fluff the rice with the rice paddle, and serve.

- Place Steamer Basket: Place the steamer basket into the cooking bowl.
- Add Food: Arrange food evenly in the steamer basket. Do not overfill.
- Close Lid: Place the glass lid securely on the rice cooker.
- Plug In & Cook: Plug the power cord into a standard electrical outlet. Press the 'Cook' switch down. The 'Cook' indicator light will illuminate.
- Monitor Steaming: Steam until food reaches desired doneness. Cooking times vary based on food type and quantity.
