1. Safety Information

4. Setup

The VOLPAM SP01 Electric Scooter comes mostly pre-assembled. Follow these steps to complete the setup:

  1. Unpack: Carefully remove the scooter and all accessories from the packaging.
  2. Handlebar Assembly: Lift the handlebar stem into the upright position until it locks securely. Attach the handlebars to the stem using the provided screws and tools. Ensure all screws are tightened firmly.
  3. Initial Charge: Before the first ride, fully charge the scooter's battery. Connect the charger to the charging port and then to a power outlet. The indicator light on the charger will change when charging is complete.
  4. Tire Check: Verify that the tires are in good condition and properly inflated.

5. Operating Instructions

Power On/Off:
  • To power on, press and hold the power button on the display for a few seconds.
  • To power off, press and hold the power button again until the display turns off.
Riding Modes:

The scooter offers three riding modes. Press the power button briefly to cycle through the modes:

  • Mode 1 (Eco): Lower speed for extended range and beginners.
  • Mode 2 (Standard): Balanced speed and power for daily commuting.
  • Mode 3 (Sport): Maximum speed and acceleration for experienced riders.
Acceleration and Braking:
  • To accelerate, gently press the throttle lever.
  • To brake, squeeze the brake levers on the handlebars. The scooter features a dual braking system for effective stopping power.
Lights and Bell:
  • Press the light button on the display to turn the headlight and taillight on or off.
  • Use the bell to alert pedestrians and other riders.

Smart APP Control:

Download the dedicated VOLPAM app to unlock additional features and control options. The app allows you to:

  • Switch riding modes.
  • Adjust start modes.
  • Activate/deactivate cruise control.
  • Control headlights.
  • View detailed ride statistics.

6. Maintenance

Battery Charging:
  • Charge the scooter after each use or when the battery level is low.
  • Do not overcharge the battery. Disconnect the charger once fully charged.
  • Store the scooter in a cool, dry place when not in use, and ensure the battery is partially charged if storing for extended periods.
Tire Care:
  • Regularly inspect the 10-inch solid tires for wear or damage.
  • While solid tires do not require inflation, ensure they are free from debris that could affect traction.
Cleaning and Storage:
  • Clean the scooter with a damp cloth. Do not use high-pressure water or harsh chemicals.
  • Store the scooter indoors in a dry environment to protect electronic components.
  • When folding for storage, ensure the locking mechanism is engaged.
